Wait, so GV, I'm a bit confused. Tantalus was next to me? And then next to the other guys? We're all together now, or what?

Precisely what I was wondering. Some spatial shifting has happened, or something. I was a bit confused, but thanks for the clarity.

Now that the encounter is over and done with, I want everyone's opinions on what I've done right and what I've done wrong so far.

For example, do you want to keep up this sandboxy style or should I take a more direct hand in guiding the plot? Would you prefer more straightforward combat, or more indirect, puzzly fights like the one you just had. Admittedly, I do feel I screwed the pooch on that last one, blanking pretty much all of what was actually happening, but I have other ideas that aren't that terrible. Would you like more social encounters? Have I made the world too threatening?

To be honest, I like how you've been running it all along. I think you've been fairly masterful in terms of pacing and all that. I really just feel like that most recent encounter was a bit difficult to decipher, as far as contacting Tantalus. But I'd hate to have you dumb things down just due to my tendency toward "blonde moments" in the wee hours of the morning (when I tend to post). It's all quality stuff, in my opinion.

I think you've done pretty great so far. Can't really account for people not finding time to post. As you said already, the secret messages may have gotten out of hand in this last part. If everyone was at rapid posting speed it would of been alright, but since we hit a lull I think it just scared people away.

I think Nix is slightly weaker than the others, which is sort of how I made him so I'll find a way to work with it. Worst comes to worst, I can start upping his power level.

It might not hurt to get some more nudges towards important plot things, but I don't want to suggest much since I think you're already really close to a good balance of events.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I like how everyone reacted to Tantalus's speech. Just quite not understanding his advice, or only getting parts of it.

If everyone else is ready to jump forward, say I.

@Vault: Am I understanding this correctly. We just reached a town and I see this waterpark. The waterpark has a sign for Marley but I know that we are not at Marley since its another three hours away. So we are at a different town (Do I know the name of it?) and somehow the park was transported here?

Maybe it was teleported there. Maybe something else happened.

Following that creek should have brought you to the town the suburb was supposed to be attached to, Livingworth. This definitely wasn't here.
