Re: Apocalypse 3 OOC

Gentleman Vaultboy
You have to be touching someone to take parts of their body.

Wulf, same goes for you: you can only manipulate the quantity of things you can touch.

This is to keep you from ending encounters immediately.
Hey son, wanna' learn how ta' make witch balls?

Wulf's character handed out flashlights. Other than that, no other equipment other than clothes has been presented.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

@GV: Yeah, that much was understood.

Normally Ben won't be this destructive. But he's going into full panic mode as their situation really hits home and the past weeks of confinement catch up with him. Expect a few more panic attacks along the way. Y'all will have to deal with him when he gets irrational.

Yeah, no....that's sorta cheating around the perfectly good personal problem I have invented. I won't have you ruin that so easily.

fair enough, wouldn't want your character to become addicted after all.

That makes no sense. You can't be addicted to not panicking...you can get used to it, but not addicted.

I think he's referring to the use of his ability as a pain reliever or an antidepressant.

Though, if the power can have those sorts of side effects, I want no part of them. At least, not used on me.

Simple removal wouldn't cause that unless hes dropping in something extra.

Bingo, ding ding ding, we have a winner.

Although not necessarily a direct side affect of the ability it's a side affect of being human. If you wait long enough mental anguish can heal, but if it just dissipates you never really get used to it and you can't handle it and you develop a dependence on the thing that gets rid of it.

However in the case of physical pain no such side affects exist.
