Dang, it sure came early today.

Well, as much as I like the idea of combining them (it would make for a real wallop of a power), I can't really do that, and entail what each Hora can do on her own. I think it's best, the way I'm doing it. And hopefully, when I'm done, you can make that judgment for yourself.
Parts of a mini-series, I don't mind being similar, because they're part of a matched set. It's the ones that have nothing to do with one another that I'd like to make distinguishable and unique from one another.

Yep. I was actually starting to get a little giddy about going thru your power set, Wulf. Dang buzzkillin' quota!
I was also cogitating on the upcoming review and started to really get a feel for the size of this little project. It might be classified as a (wait for it...) ..... Herculean task. You see what I did there?

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!! This is the 3rd day in a row the main site has overran its quota before 12 noon CST. Are there THAT many new users to the site that our resources are gobbled up so quickly?
/rant mode cancelled/ Sorry, Wulf. I promise you that I'm keen to provide a second perspective for your MythPower series, but I just can't seem to get the chance. Do you think this is worth posting in the Glitch Spotting thread to see if someone can figure out why the site exhausts its quota so quickly, or is this just a tired, old issue that won't get solved unless we can come up with additional $$$ to purchase a greater quota capacity from Google?

WHOA!! Frickin' cool, dude. I just googled Google cache. I had no idea (yes, I realize that makes me the n00b here). So THAT'S what those little green sub-headings are all about.
Thanks for the tip, WHD. While we're on the topic are there any other cool internet/computer things that you know and I don't?

No worries, Wulf. The good news is I can start stockpiling some cached Mythpowers and reacquaint myself with your work.
You wouldn't happen to have an exhaustive listing of all of them handy, would you?

Not updated. Last time I compiled the list was a few months ago. WAY fewer MythPowers than right now. I'll get it to you as soon as I can.
I may even include the ones I intend on doing in the future, and leave it up to you guys to inquire of me their divine domains. I don't mind giving out power names, but as far as actual capabilities, River Song said it best: No Spoilers.

Fair enough. Just know that you have addicts out there who are wanting a "hit" of what only you can provide. Don't make me beg.

I'll be kind. Not too much teasing of the new MythPowers to come.

Hey, Wulf. Have you done any MythPowers on either Scylla, Charybdis, or the Hecatoncheires? Scary monster stuff?
Or maybe Polyphemus and Cyclopes?

Actually, I just pulled the Google cached page on Jaws of Charybdis. Nicely done.
I would REALLY love to see what your creativity would do with the Hecatoncheires as a power concept. Just sayin'

Another cool thing about Wulf's Mythpower series is that it has its own "under-the-radar" stealth mechanism baked in, at least the way I see it, anyway.
When I first started visiting the site, looking for powers, (circa Feb 2013), I took one look at the length of the list and decided it was too much effort, since the overview didn't provide much detail whenever you moused over it. Now that I've matured somewhat, I took th time to evaluate every power, one-by-one, and discovered a treasure trove, as you guys already well know. Some of the best powers on the site are "hidden" gems in that series

I'm considering it.
Though, Charybdis is something of a goddess (a nymph daughter of Poseidon, and sometimes considered goddess of the tides); others are just thought of as monsters. Rather than going through and giving all the monsters a MythPower of their own (like I originally intended), I'm thinking about just changing Charybdis, the Sirens', Laelaps and the Teumessian Fox's MythPowers, and repurposing them for other gods. I may even repurpose them for non-MythPowers altogether. Cause I really don't want to provide a reason for not including Pegasus. And then, I have to consider the Nemean Lion, the Caucasian Eagle, and a whole myriad of other monsters. Most of them are divine, but I don't consider them gods, and I really intended only to do gods. I just got sidetracked for a time, because I really do like those creatures. PLUS, I recently decided to that this would be the final year I would make new MythPowers (and I'm sort-of taken aback by how long it's taken to get this far). Fortunate for you, though, the Hecatonchires ARE divine (sons of Ouranos, like the Titans, making them a different branch of gods). Just, the others, I'm still on the fence about. So, yeah.

I should certainly hope so.
The best part of winning the battle, in my opinion, has got to be the look on folks' face when they've totally underestimated you, and then finally get to see what you're really capable of.

Makes sense, now that you've laid it all out. I never realized what a slippery slope it could be by profiling monsters. You make a good point on where the line should be drawn.
