I'd just go with a salamander. Fire manipulation, fire immunity, fiery form. Ya know...if you have a thing for fire.

Yeah, true. Just don't choose goblins. They're fire spirits too, related to elves, but everybody knows, they're ugly as crap.

He factors all variables into a problem, and has actually won the lottery, then put it all in the stock market. Needs slight amount of time to get used to working in a new group or environment, but still has strategies ready in a mere instance. Does have a sense of humor, but rarely shows it. He is thought of as a cold machine by some people, who have now passed.

Likes: chess, strategy games, planning, elaborate traps, regular traps, effective traps, many other kinds of traps, poison (especially sarin), snakes, nature, the night

Dislikes: flaws, ineffective traps, plans that don't work, horrible strategists, being bored

The Hydra Affect: After having part of himself injured, even amputated, it heals/regrows, & temporarily becomes better.

Poison Production: Can create nearly every kind of poison there is.

Snakelike Anatomy: Can stretch and bend like a contortionist, can shapeshift to be more snakelike( that's the "Hybrid Form), can grow 3 heads, and can crush better than the mightiest python or anaconda.

Natural Abilities:

Snake Communication: Can talk to, and manipulate snakes.

Possessions:

Snake-scale Cloak: A black hooded cloak made up of layers of snake-scales, specially modified so that if he breaks a patch off and throws them, they will explode into clouds of poisonous gasses.

Grappling Hook: A grappling hook, modeled after a Black Mamba, that can elongate to extreme lengths, has deadly strains of poison in it's "fangs", and can be used as a whip. Virtually impossible to break.
You aren't symmetrical. You. Aren't. Symmetrical.
YOU! AREN'T! SYMMETRICAL!?!?!?!?!?!

===Character===

Name- Kevin Ryan

Nick Name/Alias- two first names, hero, sucker, cheater(and proud of it), Krying(hates this one)

=Appearance=

Height- 5'11

Weight- 162 lbs.

Gender- Male

Chronological Age- 18

Biological Age- 18

Skin Color- Tan

Eye Color- Blue-green

Hair Color- Black

Species- Human?(Hero)

Other- May be half human--unknown mother

=Psychology=

Likes-  sparringing, swords, study of the occult-especially concerning myths, playing video games, pizza, taking care of his motorcycle, taking care of the cat

Dislikes- Magic Users-especially people who fight long range, taking care of the farm animals--with the exception of the cat

Phobias- the family curse---(fear of death)

Personality- Not a genius but still rather intelligent, Kevin was born with the "hero's curse" that was passed down the family. As a result, his family has high expectations for his heroics. Unfortunately he does not want to be a hero because that would mean that he would die early. Fighting came naturally to him, and he likes sparring but he is a little uneasy when deciding to engage in combat. He is more like Odysseus than Hercules and will cheat ie use the other person's weakness if he researched it ahead of time. He is generally a nice guy, some would say that he is a "sucker" that would help anyone in time of need. In addition he can never lie directly.

Backstory:

In order to save his cousin from getting killed by a Dullahan he tricked the Dullahan into falling into a trap hole filled with gold. With this the Dullahan became easy to defeat.

=Skills=

Knowledge- fencing, boxing, wrestling, stick fighting, kicking, various myths, legends and folklore from numerous races and cultures around the world (and mythological, legendary, folkloric and cryptozoological creatures)---he specializes in studying weaknesses for extermination of harmful creatures, knowledge of Gaelic and some runes, and bilingual (English and Spanish)

Skills- "kick-butt" diplomacy--ie big stick, research, strategy (ie find a weakness), solving riddles, being sneaky when he has to be, fighting, handling any weapon given time to examine it, excellent driver, equivocating, good shot using archery

Nonskills- telling sarcasm, reacting with creatures considered evil(His presence scares them)

Field: All Fields--fair at espionage, combat, and reconaisance--though he has a specialty in combat

=Abilities=

Hero's Curse (Cursed to be a hero with a death early in life)

Powers-

Weapon Mastery-Is instantly proficient with any wielded weapon given that he has time to learn how it is supposed to be used first--ie might use the wrong end but still useful for damage

Hero's Luck-Increases his chance of winning against chaotic aligned creatures

Honesty-Cannot tell a lie---This forces him to equivocate

=Species=

Captured Species Data:

Dullahan

Dullahan are a type of unseelie fairy. Known as a headless knight, it is usually said to ride on a black horse or draw a carriage. In some cultures it is the image of the grim reaper or the valkyrie and brings people to the afterlife. Seeing one is not a good sign. In some myths, it will pour blood on those that will die soon. It is relatively immortal and can regenerate. None can block the path of the Dullahan. Weak against gold.

             Powers and Abilities.

*Immortality- There have been no known stories where a Dullahan has died and many can argue that it is undead due to it's head being detached from body

*Unblockable- Nothing can block the path of the Dullahan, no lock, door, or drawbridge, etc will stop the Dullahan--no prison can contain him

*Rider Proficiency(Spirit Horse)- Can channel his spirit horse into any existing horse or vehicle when in tangible form also enabling it to use any vehicle even hijacking cars and jets

*Spirit Intangibility- Can go from spirit form or physical form at will--in spirit form it can see and talk to the spirits of the dead

*Death Sense- As the grim reaper of several cultures, Dullahan has the ability to sense when someone dies. Calling out their name at the moment of death.

*Head Toss-Can toss his head at people as a weapon-From the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Banishes a physical being to the spiritual realm if hit

*Bone Whip-Has a bone whip that can also be used as a sword it always becomes as long or short as necessary

             Weaknesses.

*Gold- Similar to kryptonite, the simple act of waving a gold coin renders Dullahan ineffective

*Path Following- When riding Dullahan must follow the road and cannot go off-road-this applies even when he uses a jet

*Unintended Curse- Similar to many superstitions seeing one will bring bad luck--as a hero Kevin doesn't use this form unless necessary

 ==Possessions==

CaladBolg X- A forged magic sword with a curse that binds him to be a hero, only usable by him and can deflect magical spells, in addition it will always return to his side unless he gives it up willingly

Compound Bows and Arrow-Made out of modern material uses it sometimes

Chuck something made of iron at him if he starts to get annoying.

Most fairy things don't like iron overtly much.

either way he needs to limit the character to one...although if he fears death I'm kind of interested to hear how he got the Dullahan scan.

Maybe the Dullahan was a wimp?

Or he was coated in gold and the dullahan was stuck on a dead end road while holding a four leaf clover he mugged from a leprechaun...

His character was holding it. Not the Dullahan ...

I doubt that the irish angel of death is a wimp...he probably also had to be standing on the opposite side of a river viewing him through glasses coated in pixie dust as well...or maybe he did the same thing as the one guy that saw the dullahan and was spaired because he helped repair it's cart....well mostly spaired, his hair turned white the next day and his friends died.

either way Wish you still need to pick one of them.

Well....

It can only go on paths, so if you put something between it and the rest of the road, and it's a dead end...

Particularly if that something had gold on it..

Re: Warriors of Myth

jester_of_god
he has a carriage for something doesn't he? he probably just throws you in the back and keeps going until he finishes his rout, also theirs fsome confusion, you don't become the creature entirely so the death vision thing might not be an issue since he has it only because he is the grim reaper, not because of his species.
