For character description, was just double checking.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Hmmm...

In my idea, my character is a person derived from a certain fairy tale..

In it a large group of children are stolen away, with my character being one of them..

Perhaps you've heard of the abductor, the last name he was called by was The Piper...

The Pide Piper eh, mass hypnotic abilities manifested through instruments, as well as the ability to open portals into other dimensions...technically not a magical creature and more of a magician but good enough.

Well, you let me have a djinn. I think Zale is trustworthy to bend the rules for, just a little.

I forget the name, but why don't you use a different interpretation of the pide piper that is actually a mythical creature.

That's your version...

In the one I think I'll use he's more of a powerful fairy.. thing. His kind is thankfully very very rare.

As for the piper's personality... He's extremely mercurial, his mood swings around with breakneck speed.  He might absolutely love everything one minute and be angrily atomizing people the next.

Which means that plenty of the kids he abducted haven't survived to now..  Not to mention the time weirdness you get from where he lives..  Most of them have only aged a few years, despite having lived for several subjective (And a few real) centuries..

Anyway, my character will probably be a touch paranoid, but with good instincts and even better reflexes. (Living with the Piper does that to people.)
My character will only really have the hypnotic playing abilities maybe portals, probably some ability with glamor..

Honestly, he won't be nearly as strong as the dragon dude...

I don't remember there being any mythical creature version of him...

meh, maybe I just didn't read that far in the ancient texts...

He probably should be a fairy, yeah that sounds good to me.

I don't know, your characters ability would create a master illusionist. perfect for trapping enemies and areas. I could see a mystical tune being played over a large area as a translucent mist roles in and all of the inhabitants of the area fall into a deep sleep.

Unless they're fighting something deaf..

Anyway, I'm sure he'd have to try a few times to get the right tune to put that particular thing to sleep.

What's a drowsy lullaby to a banshee might be a cacophony to something else.

Yeah, I'm sure a banshee is a sucker for a nice chorus line of "Danny Boy", lol

Nah, fingernails on a chalkboard work just like brahhm's lullaby to a banshee. make sure you raise the right pinkie though or else it's more similar to flight of the Valkyries.

What do you think of me using an actual djinn instead of mimicking one?

I thought that you were. I'm alright with it, after all I'm using an exorcist raised by the king of dragons since infancy. and Wish is using a hero from a lineage of other hero's that captured the headless demon of death in a pit of gold.

just making sure you didn't have any problems with it...I was contemplating the character earlier, hoping he'd be alright...

Re: Warriors of Myth

hmmm well I think that he's pretty even with the rest of them for the time being. A descendent of great hero's who's afraid of death, An orphaned exorcist raised by the king of dragons, and the "i'm assuming runt" son of the King of Djinn. "He's got a harem He's got to have more than one offspring, don't take it personally often times the runt prove to be the most powerful."

No, you're very right...he's the runt of the litter, so to speak. But among the only boys still allowed to compete for the throne. His eldest brother (HALF-brother, really) tried to conspire against their father, which is why he and the rest of the boys all had to leave until they could prove themselves worthy to come back. The girls, Djinn Zetsuei didn't have to worry about, because none of them can take the throne unless all the males are killed or elsewise occupied...

Do you mind if Ifrit is part of the evil organization, or maybe Iblis...

How did our elite team / organization / band of misfits get together?

HA! I'd have to say YEAH I mind if Iblis is part of the evil organization. That's another name for Sheitan (i.e. the Muslim SATAN)...

But a nameless ifrit would be fine...

@Philote: no clue...
