If they can grow an ear on a rat's back, and regenerate lost muscle tissue on a man who lost limbs, certainly they can gift us with greater regenerative powers.

Didn't the ear turn out to just be an ear shaped lump of cartilage? either way for more complex regeneration you'd need a tank or holding cell of some sort.

No it's proven science just incredibly difficult, what you'd basically need is an artificial womb of sorts. I've done some research in this field actually. Before birth there is a veil of constructive cells that tell the body to form into a certain shape, otherwise it would just become a lump of tumorous cells. Thanks to this veil a fetus has extrodinary regeneration capabilities, some species even able to repair entire sectons of brain that had been removed. for this to occur in an adult or even child specimen, you would have to have a machine to correct the flow of stemcells in order to insure that they became the right shape.
