I could easily trick a superhuman with the power Power Bestowal into gifting me with the power to reincarnate, likely some variation of Astral Projection that also allows the astral self to possess new forms.

Well, if there aren't, then you can plan elaborately to make a machine allowing the soul to maintain a coherent energy state outside of the body, thus being capable (with immense mental training) of dominating another body ANYWAY.

Or if you can't make the machine, trick some genius guy into doing it.

Control over magnetism = forcefields, navigation, levitation, limited telekinesis, limited electric manipulation, etc.
Control over metal = everything I've mentioned.

At high levels both have the same affect of keeping you from being harmed and having your body unchanged. I'd go with invulnerability though I guess so you don't have the wait time for regeneration.
