What about LoC?
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

It's up to you. It can end in the current thread (if you think we can give it a proper ending in this thread), or we can give it one more thread. But we need to bring it down to as few threads as possible, so we can move on to other things.

It was kind of meant to be an open-ended sort of thing.

We've yet to even move past the first age at the present. Mostly because of the Tournament.

I'd honestly be kind of pissed if I had to jerk everything to a close so quickly. I'd rather have it drift in and out of hiatus as the current amount of RPs allowed.

Like the NB is probably going to end up doing. Pop it on the hiatus list, then later on bring it out, then put it back a few threads later to make more room, etc..

Then it is decided.

The Lords of Creation shall continue to rule this Alter-Earth for so long as we maintain creative capacity and interest.

So says you, the Zaleramancer.

Honestly, Now that I think about it. Most of our RP problems started when we introduced RPs that were longer than one thread. Before then we knocked them all out quickly and efficiently.

Yes, that's exactly when our problems started.

In particular, they began when we started trying to make MOST of our RPs last more than one thread.

Had it only been a few that lasted so long, things might still be running efficiently.

So it's settled? We return to short one shot RPs like the Apocalypse RPs?

This sounds reasonable to me, I agree that the longer types of RPs defiantly contributed to the problem.

RPs like NB and LoC can stay as they are, but we should try something shorter for the others until we get a good handle on things.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I think I can wrap up KCoM in its current thread and eliminate that.

Hm...you think so?

What page is it on, now?

22......it's possible I think, if I collapse 4 of the other main plot events I had into one.

Hm...interesting. Can't wait to see how that'll turn out.

I don't think anyone will really notice I collapsed them since I had already made it part of my Alternate plan should something else run longer than it should.

I have a tendency to make Sandbox RPs.

Which is a problem.

For the Fantasy RP, we could just have each of the large quest arcs be a thread.

Then have off-time inbetween.

If we can fit them all in.

If you don't mind treating each arc as a separate RP, that should work fine

Well, that's what we have comments threads for. Planning. Each thread here is an experiment for improvement.

It's just, you can't let that be ALL that you get out of the experience.

We have to crack down on our RPs, as far as planning, development and execution goes.
