The Imp stares at the door. Some deep instinct said this was a bad idea. Normally, the Imp would have listened to this voice of self-preservation.. but...

It was angry.

This whole day had consisted of nothing but it being stabbed and attacked. That was it. It was going to attack these stupid things with every fiber of it's being.

So it expended the last bits of defense magic it had to protect itself..

Then opened the door.

The younger cultist panics and looses concentration on his spell. He turns to flee.

I carry drag the corpse of the cultist down the hallway before finding a weapon storage...nothings in it that I can use as a weapon, not even a freaking sword, everthing's covered in rust, but I have an idea at least.. I hear the door open from the end of the Hallway and quickly use the material from the rooms to prop up the corpse, tieing a piece of wood across it's arm and back to force it into an attacking position, before ducking into the Weapon storage.

The Imp looks around.. And sees some low ranking cultist standing in the hall.

It barks a question in the Demonic tongue, wondering where the bard disappeared too.

The cultist doesn't respond, and the Imp begins to stare at the human. Was there something wrong with him? The Imp wasn't familiar enough with humans to tell, but it felt certain  something was wrong.

It conjured a ball of magical force in it's hand, ready to attack it needed.

Then it asked the cultist the question once more.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

The elder cultist notices the Spellblade's advance and switches tactics. He throws something towards the ground, and it explodes in a blinding shower of sparks and smoke.

I see the air shimmer right in front of me and prepare for whatever the cultist is about to throw at me. I turn my back to the cultist, protecting at least my bow from getting snapped, and get slammed by the force and roll down the hall.

"Ugh, warrior needs to do his job. I'm not made to take these kind of hits."
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

"Darn, the things more intelligent than I thought." Let's see, I grab a pieve of twine from the empty rooms that I rig I set up to prop up the corpse and pull. The rig gives way making the corpse fall forward, with the arm raised it shoudl look similair to an attack. I wait for the sound of a blasted corpse and prepare to teleport.

The human was attacking it!

The Imp let loose the magical force, which strikes the cultist dead on- sending him flying backwards down the hall.

The offensive action cancels out the Imp's invisibility.

Hearing the spell make impact I teleport through the wall directly behind and slightly above the imp, as I fall I bring down the metal reinforced guitar with all of my strength and weight upon the back of the imps skull.

I can hear the cultist chanting a spell, but my vision is blurry and I cannot see where he is. I stumble about trying to get my bearings.

The Imp goes down like a ton of bricks.

The magic protections it invoked keep it from falling wholly unconscious, but it is stunned senseless by the blow.

Sheer dumb luck steers Marv to collide right with the elder Cultist.

"Nows my chance." quickly bound the hands and feet of the imp in the styel of a bull, and bound it's mouth in cloth from the corpse. As I notice it begin to regain clarity I shapeshift one of my fingers into a small bone blade and press it against it's neck. "If you try to utter one more spell in that Darned Language I swear to Mik Hael and his ghast that I will slit your throat and rip out your vocal cords. I don't want to fight you, All I want is a little information. Are you willing to give it."

The Imp hisses at the bard.

As annoyed as it is, it's not stupid. Self-Preservation ranks highly in a demon's priorities.

With an expression of distaste, the Imp speaks in the human tongue.

"What do you wish to know?"

The elder cultist fails his arms in an attempt to get the spellblade off him.

Meanwhile, the younger cultist, unable to see the elder because of the smoke, lets off his spell.

Dancing blades of flame swing out, aimed at the heroes farther down the hall.

"You're willing to help? Good" I wrap the imps bindings to a small pole and loft him into the air. Holding him about a short distance in front of me as I begin to walk down the corridoor,"First let's see if you can lead me to whoever caused all of this carnage."
