I launch arrows through several of the incoming fire blades to disrupt their form, while the Warrior and Mercenary take on the rest with their blades.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

"You.. are with them?" It said, spitting the word out.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Seeing the swords be disrupted, and the smoke clearing to allow him to see how close the spellsword was, the younger cultist decided to simply let all his power loose.

Fire blasted from his form, sending both the elder Cultist and Marv flying, once again.

(You know, next time, you may want to ensure a healing person accompanies you.)

"If you want to find.. them, then take the left route. The other leads to a dead end. I wonder if they got past the snakes.."

"What snakes?" I say casting a minor illusion on myself and the Imp, making me look like a cultist, and the imp look like a captured halfling to any passerbye's. I contemplate whether or not to take the left passage. Life 101 never take the imprisoned demons words for face value.

As I am sent flying yet again, I contemplate my carrer choice. I land hard on the stone floor and again try to get up. My burns prevent me from standing all the way up though,

"Serpentine beings that guard the passage to the central room. Stupid things." The Imp continued to furnish true information, mostly because it was to exasperated with this day to bother deceiving the bard. It was likely the bard would think it lying anyway, so it mattered little.

"....Fair enough." In that case they've probably killed off everything closeby...I change the illusion to blend us into the surrounding area. "In that case let's go, we need to catch up." I begin to break into a swift pace, passing by impaled corpses until I hear the sound of fighting ahead.

The younger cultist is reduced to a burnt husk, quite dead.

The elder barely manages to stand, evidently he had some ward to to soften the blow.

"Well Isn't this nice." I whisper observing the fight from the shadows. "It looks like they could use a bit of help." I extend a small piece of bone from my wrist into a blade as I slowly approach camaflouged.

The remaining cultist blearily sees the approaching spellsword, he jerks his hands up to cast one more spell.

"....darn it." Seing the cultist readying his spell and the warrior unable to fight, I quickly teleport myself and the imp behind the Cultist and slam my arm down onto his juggular with the bone wrist blade.

The cultist falls to the ground, blood leaving his body.

I look at the surrounding adventureres as my illusion sheds. I hold one hand aloft and say "...Yo...anyone up for demon kabab?." I look down at the imp, which glared at me. "What, I'm kidding.
