The Kethencian College of Magic RP (Part 2)

[Philote]

"It looks like we are all ready to set out. Let's see, we have a charms student, a storms student, and a protection student. Charms and protection both have a wide range that could be applied to them, so lets narrow the search down to something storm related. The Wind and Water sections of the college might have something for Wulf" Zauber tells the group as he leads the way out into the halls.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"How do ya figure that?" Piper asks as she matches paces with Zauber.

[Philote]

"Storm has connections to wind and water, and you never know, Wulf may find some connection with them even though he has focused on electricity so far. His own wing should probably be the last place we check, since he would find his tool there naturally on his own if it is there."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka: "That does make cents. How about we split up into two or three groups instead though. One to find your Mage Tool and Wulf's, Zauber, one to find Samuel's and Piper's. This way we can search different areas simultaneously with multiple people and we don't open ourselves wide open to be attacked by thugs, like the ones who attacked you earlier."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Sounds like a plan to me. I'd like us all to find our Mage Tools as quickly and efficiently as possible." Wulf mused, with stars in his eyes, imagining himself wielding a lightning-themed javelin like the Spear of Destiny.

[Philote]

"Wulf and Samuel should head off together since their is some unity between their schools, the same for Piper and I. Asoka, you can head with either team since you already have your tool" Zauber says.

Turning to Piper "Where do you think we should start?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"So." Wulf turns to Samuel, "Where to first?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I have no clue. Our Mage Tools could literally be anywhere!"

[Philote]

"Are they always inside the school? We could possible check in the city outside the college."

[The Junkyard Cat]

"Well I haven't had the time to explore the whole college yet so why not start in your area." Samuel says a bit gleefully

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Well, theoretically it could be anywhere, since its rumored that your Mage tool will find you and not the other way around. Its possible that ours could be outside the college, but we can;t just simply walk out the front door and leave the college."

[Philote]

"We can't? I heard there was a city close to the college, but I never checked since I was teleported straight to the school."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Well, we're in school aren't we? We can;t just leave school whenever we want. The Door guards would never allow it. But...." Piper gets a mischievous smile on her face, "...I may know an 'secret' way into the city."

[The Junkyard Cat]

"Well then I have some good news I heard we are taking a trip outside the college. So we have a better chance to for our mage tools to find us."

[Philote]

"That sounds a lot better than searching through the same wings all day. Lead the way" Zauber replies.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"Yay! Adventure! Let's go!" Piper suddenly becomes more determined than ever. She strides at a brisk pace down the halls in a hurry to find her "secret path". It isn't long before she comes to a unadorned and unassuming length of brick wall in one of the hallways.

"Here we are!" she cries with enthusiasm before beginning to rummage through her satchel.

[Philote]

"Asoka, you better decide which group you want to go with quick" Zauber calls as he runs after Piper

As Zauber catches up with her, he says "You're not planning on knocking the wall down i hope, that would be slightly obvious."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Piper pulls out a large circular paper charm from her satchel. "Well, there is the possibility that.....nevermind. I'm not going to knock the wall down..........I hope."

Piper places the charm on the wall then presses her index finger to several of the runes on it in sequence. The runes glow briefly as they are pressed. Seconds after Piper finishes pressing runes the bricks in the wall begin to slide backwards. The shift and slide to form a small circular opening.

Piper ducks in without hesitation. "Let's go!"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Asoka follows along after Piper and Zauber. After all, if the two were going into the city then it could be extremely dangerous. She catches up as Piper ducks into the tunnel and follows her in.

The tunnel is long, but not very tall forcing the students to crouch as they moved.
