The trouble with this kind of test is it's difficult to match a superpower with a personality type. I chose and try to keep the principle that the superpower should fit the person's personality rather than their desires and needs. Like a person with Super Intelligence would be someone who's very smart and enjoys learning, rather someone who's flunking at school, someone with Super Strength would likely be self-confident, rather than someone who is weak, insecure and wishes to be stronger, or someone with Invisibility is introverted and reserved rather than someone who's wishing not to be seen by a gunman with glasses.

Maybe you could even create a variation to match people up to certain superheroes.

I'm telling you, the quiz thing is a good idea. I know it. The quiz section would get a LOT of publicity if it had games, quizzes and more organized RPs. I mean, people trickle in little by little, but when they finally begin coming in greater numbers, we'd want folks to come in and see that there's something to cater to EVERYBODY...

That's what I was thinking. I mean, I don't read comics, or stay all THAT current on Heroes trivia, but I now am perfectly aware of:

The Flash's affinity for going commando

Superman's ability to turn back time by flying counterorbital to the Earth's rotation

Wonder Woman's redo as a modern hip Amazon

Superboy and Superman are not the same person

BATMAN DIED....

And don't get me started on the Marvel continuum...

It's all good. A li'l Internet research never hurt anybody...

I have figured out a simple guideline for the average person:
1) A defensive power: Many are afraid of our own mortality.
2) A transportation power: Many have travel issues.
3) A personal gain power: What's the fun of powers if you can't benefit from them?
4) A "wildcard" power: We want an "escape route", so with this selection we can do other things (i.e. Power of Imagination, Pick a Power, etc).

Of course, most have a combination of these.

I agree, they're very good ones. Is it just me, or is it really annoying when people pick only passive/receptive/defensive powers? I don't know, I just think a team should be well-rounded, which that one is.

Also, for whatever reason, I just love earth based superpowers. I'm not sure why, but I am just fascinated by earth powers. From terrakinesis to stone form.
