I think the Demon beats down a jackal headed dude? And there's this one big guy who's basically the terminator? And at the end the kid is recognized as some kind of genius?

I remember it being awesome, but that might just be nostalgia.

I really love the series.

That's the first book, by the way.

Nathaniel redeems himself in the last book, once he realizes what the Magicians are like.

It stands in stark contrast to what he idealized.

And Bartimaeus is just as funny and awesome in every book.

There's also a prequel, with Bartimaeus's time during the rule of Solomon.

Ok, so after watching Gurren Lagann, Transformers, Voltron Force and a few other shows lately, I was thinking that a Giant Robot type RP would just be freaking awesome. Course we already have so many RPs planned, I may just run it on my own forum or just have fun planning it out but never actually running it.

I've even thought out some of the basic mechanics ( a feat that impresses even me considering...) and designed one or two mechs. If nobody else is interested I'll just keep designing mechs and stuff myself on my own forum.
