Well, your logic is illogical. Silly human physics does not apply here. Tis magical, therefore magical thinking prevails.

Alright, I'm going to go for a mostly human male Gorgon, human features except for snake hair. Besides the obvious petrification, I think I'll have enhanced strength/reflexes. Any other Gorgon abilities I should consider adding? I think I'll have the petrification not work on other mythos as well. Need name suggestion as well I suppose.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Why do Vampires burn in the sun?

I didn't write this stuff!
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Didn't it used to be said that it had to be a silver bullet to kill a werewolf? Now its just any silver.

Do Gorgons have to eat?

The information on Warriors of Myth Wiki's Fext page is accurate, except the behavior stuff. Some Fexts are totally invulnerable to harm, while others can totally regenerate from harm.

Sort kinda.

Right now, you can basically do anything you want. Cause chaos and bump into each other.

After a few in-story hours have passed, I'll make a little newscast to show you how people are taking these things.

For example, a clip on a newshow about vandalism, breaking and entering in the downtown museum.

As time goes by, you'll get more things. Newspaper articles about odd statues appearing all over town, perhaps as some sort of strange artistic prank. People will talk about huge foot-prints in the lawns, or how their dogs went crazy and chased this poor japanese woman down the street.

Eventually, you get to where the city is on watch for "Wild Animals" or "Escaped Convicts" or however the justify it..

Cops.. Army..  Escalating..
Everyone get this?

Same way a vampire can kick butt, take names, assume various animal forms and live forever, and yet can't enter houses without permission, and can't be in the sun, for fear of sunburn worse than a ginger in Miami.

I think he'd like Sea Food.

Ancient Greek Names.

Hypatos. It means Highest or Supreme.

You may or may not be immortal. Preferably not.

It probably seemed exotic at the time.

If it had been a bit farther in the past when Fexts were imagined, it would probably be a glass sword or something.

Like any wood should work to kill a vampire, not just in stake form. Or all metals should ward off fay, not just iron. Or all moonlight should turn a man into a werewolf, not just the full moon.

That would be frackin' awesome. Who the heck can get their hands on a glass sword? They'd be here forever!

I could be immortal without being invulnerable.

Wood bullets seem to work. No, type of metal seems important in that regard. I don;t think it's the moonlight, but rather the time of the moonlight, The full moon being a pagan thing.
