 Hm...never actually given the gameplay a try. I'll definitely give this a look.

They were more spontaneous back then because single RP's were just that, single. With a few exceptions they rarely carried on into a long series. Now that New Beginning (Is it over? It moved so fast in my absence) and others were drawn out people spend more time on the series. I've been looking for a good RP to join but they all seem deep underway, I wouldn't know where to start in the story.

But while you're here...No, New Beginning will not be over for the foreseeable future. But it is on hiatus. People seem to have fallen into a rut that keeps us from getting anything done. No matter how much we keep trying to inspire new interest, it doesn't seem like it's working. And the only RPs that seem to be running smoothly are the privately run ones (namely 'The Evolutionist's Stone' and 'Greetings, from Celadon!') and Elemental Planes.

What is the celadon RP about exactly? I remember something about shadow rain? Being made your apprentice but not much else.

Interesting. I'll have to find time to read it( My mother recently commandeered the PC for things she needs to do and every other connected electronic device needs wifi, which my dad put restrictions on by blocking after a certain time, the only other computer having even worse restrictions than my iPod). Maybe people will be able to get back into the RP spirit soon.
