[Celadon's Penultimate]

 Aw...cheer up.

I'm not entirely sold on the idea. Trust me when I say it'll be hard to do.

But the story gets little to no attention. And, despite what I get from Creative Writing class, I'm having a hard time coming up with new inspiration, and depth for the plot and characters. And worse, it seems that, all at once, I have no time to work on it. AGAIN. I mean, crap, I only just got the time to work on it again, a couple weeks ago!

So, like I said, it's only a thought.

Maybe I'll just put the thing on hiatus, AGAIN. Or maybe I'll take the thing down, and work on it until it's a book. Or I may just reopen all of the threads, and leave them to be picked at and edited and manipulated and added to by other folks, until I can return. Who knows? I might even give executive power to another user entirely.

I'm very sorry that I don't contribute much, but honestly, it's just to big for me to comprehend what's going on. I also feel that there's too much of other people's things in there for me to feel comfortable changing things..

I'm amazed you've managed to prevail so far. I would have given up months ago..

 Well, thanks for that, and I accept your apology, but it's really not anyone's fault except my own.

I wish I had more time and motivation to edit this story. It has such great potential (in case you guys hadn't noticed, it's supposed to be a series, not just one big huge book). Still, I have no illusions that it'll be perfect when I'm done. Which is what makes the end seem so disconcerting. And at the same, I have to get on with planning for the end, whether it comes now, or a year from now.

I think it would have been easier on you if you had done one thread at a time. Also, worked with a smaller cast. The thing that scared me away from it for so long was that it looked inaccessible.

In my defense, I'm a creator. It's in my nature to make worlds and universes and galaxies and dimensions. I've done it for years. But, yeah, there's entirely too many people. I realize that. Or, at least, too many people for one person to manage.

If people took groups, that would be nice, and it would be much easier to be creative and focus on one group. But we don't have nearly enough people. At least not enough people with the time and the desire. Skill, sure, but everyone involved has to be willing.

And on an only-vaguely-related note, I'm close to finishing my story. If you guys are still up and want to see it, it may be up in an hour or so.

Well, maybe if people get back to reading it, and telling me what they think. And maybe if I can get around to editing it, and getting rid of all the grammar and spelling errors, I'll feel more confident about continuing with the series.

I'd love some contributions of ideas, plotline, and (hopefully, eventually) some writing from other folks, but until then, the continuation of the story will depend on my mood. And in my current mood, with all the stuff I have going on, I don't feel like I can really add much interesting and exciting plotline to the stories.
