Well you see I don't enjoy the "Certain damnation" part. Think the other through they sounded prommising.

What should YOU care about certain damnation? You don't believe in God (or A god), and thus don't believe in damnation. Who would damn you? "The Great Atheismo"?
If you believe in no hell, no judgment, no damnation, then taking this power should pose no qualm.

Just consider the others. Such as the power to destroy divine beings of a lower caliber, etc. It would greatly help in the atheists plan to steal the worlds gold, take control of every major weapons and technological facility and show the world our wrath.
I'm kidding of course.

Because it implys that there IS a damnation that may or may not be a Christian he'll like dimension that usage of the power cindems you to. There's a difference between beliefs in the real world and conditions in the fictional world.

It doesn't imply anything. If there IS one (which I believe there is), then you're going. But if there ISN'T, then who cares if you tease and mock and make fun of God (or the gods)? Right?
No judgment or damnation or neverending perdition for you...maybe. Then again, it's possible. Basically, with this power, you're just risking your immortal soul. No biggie. Go ahead. Take a chance.

Those are not the words I usually hear from a christian, but hey, at least your giving me a choice. Still, just mull over what those other powers might do.

So? You wouldn't listen to me if I came to you with Bible verses. I've always found that the quickest way to get what's coming to an atheist, is to let them do what they like, and then suffer the consequences.
Nobody likes to feel like they're being controlled, but they have no problem crying back to you when stuff goes wrong. So, go on. Take it. Taaaake it. Just don't blame me if/when God tells you that your final resting place will be a sun-sized barbecue that never turns off. Hehehe...

If I actually did believe in damnation then I would kill its ruler then procede to kill everything divine.

Oh, please, Satan's handled much smarter minds than you.
That's what all the atheists say. Arrogant enough to think somehow that YOU have what it takes to rule a place you don't even know about, or think exists... And yet Hell's still ruled by Satan. And will be long after you've taken your seat down there.

And the divine are not only immortal, but ruled by someone infinitely more powerful.
So there. No rant needed. 'Nuff said.

You would be surprised, there is always room to get better. As for your second post a rant is indeed not needed, but while you consider your god as omnipotent I prefer not to limit myself and the universe in general with such an assumption.

I consider Him what He is. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'd rather assume that and be wrong, than NOT assume it, and be right. Or to not assume it and be wrong and be in Hellfire forever. At least if I'm wrong, then no harm no foul. And what if YOU'RE right? Then my life has no purpose other than that which my imperfect mind gives it, which still adds up to nothing in the grand scheme of things. And if you're WRONG, then you burn in hell forever, never to see another happy day again. You've been warned, and so when you're judged, you can't feign ignorance. So like I said, assume there's no God all you like. And I'll "assume" there is. May the best man win.

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

It's the truth. I don't have to convince him that God exists, or that He's omnipotent. I know what I believe, and I had my reasons for putting certain damnation in my MythPower, so I'm sticking to it.
He just wanted to take the opportunity to insult Christianity, but I won't be lured into another debate about it.

I choose not to believe because I believe that there is so much more out there and that( no offense to you or anyone else who believes in a god) the idea of omnipotence is a tad bit silly. That is all.

Excuse me? I will kindly ask you not to decide that I was trying to "insult Christianity" , I attempted no such thing. I merely voiced my opinion on one of the powers cons. I desire a religious argument no more than you do.

Okay, so if you don't believe in it, it shouldn't matter if you take the power. Consider that an empty slot.
