Superhuman Atheism:
Pros:
-Offers complete immunity to the direct effects of gods.
-God powers no longer work on you.
-Works the same when negated.
Cons:
-Cannot be deactivated, con negated, etc.
-Prevents the use of god powers yourself.
-Cannot be affected directly by the gods in a beneficial way.

Please tell me if this is too similar to an existing power.
Bow before your unimaginably powerful overlord!

Wait a minute, I'm currently too busy holding a cork in mid air for petty groveling.

MAKE IT!

Neo needs to get it. And Marv. And WHD.

But before you do, make sure it includes the stipulation of negating any divine powers they ALREADY have, too.

(Yay! You're doing my dirty work! Now I don't need to make Void Blasphemy!)

Oh, um, yeah, THAT'S why I want you to get it. Let's go with that.

Curses. Foiled again by that stinkin' WHD logic.

Not happening Shadowulf. Not only is it similar to divine immunity but divine immunity lets you use Mythpowers you have with training. Maybe if you had decided to make all those nice atheistic powers then things could be different.

Well, I can still make one. And still be divine. I've got the perfect solution...

Tell me what it will do so I can weigh it against the other Mythpowers  I could get.

Dyssebia was the goddess of godlessness.

Re: Power Orphanage

That is so contradictory. Anyway, I might. But seeing as you never mentioned what those other atheistic powers that sounded attractive did then I can't really compare. Will it be like divine immunity or have...extra features?

Re: Power Orphanage

Well, those hadn't even been considered.

But THIS one has been thought through.

MythPower: Dyssebia's Defiance(Rough Draft)

The ability to channel Dyssebia's command over the essence of irreligious impiety and godlessness

You cannot be directly contacted or affected by ANY divinity, regardless of pantheon, and you can psychically perceive, communicate with and compel those who are particularly sinful. In addition, if you compel them to do something evil or sinful, even those with mental immunity cannot resist (as long as they believe in no god, or are very sinful).

Good:

Perceive and induce sinfulness and disregard for religion
Psychically perceive, communicate with and compel the sinful/irreligious
Immune to any direct divine influence

Bad:

If you are actually an atheist with this power, permanently negates all other divine powers
Cannot negate it to gain other divine power
Guarantees certain damnation (if taken by atheists)

Eh...

No. Bad Zale. Don't think about it.

Yes. Fall to temptation...

Gain the one, lose all the others...
