I rarely let her out of my sight, and if I do I have some of the less.. Violent reapers follow to make sure she doesn't do anything horrible.

I glance up from my musings to see what looks like a fireball rising in the vicinity of my flat. Crap. I leave for two seconds... I strain my ears and manage to make out the dim sound of sirens wailing, people screaming, and large automotive transportation units being overturned.

Better get back and have a look. Nothing I can't deal with, I'm sure...

(You'd be surprised, Soupy; what with my many years creating characters, and giving them awesome backstories, I've grown rather accustomed to trying out new accents, male and female)

I teleport to the what seems to be the source of the trouble, and find myself in the middle of a deserted warzone. The wreckage of burnt out cars and overturned buses litters the main road, like a scene straight from the apocalypse. But what was the source?

I barely have time to process the thought as I sense a disturbance behind me, turning to see what looks like the wreckage of twenty supermarket trolleys crushed into a ball, hurtling towards my face. Time seems to slow as my reflexes kick in, teleporting me to the roof of Tesco to watch the ball skid with sparks along the burnt out Tarmac.

And then I felt the chill...

"I haven't been for awhile either, but we'll have to sight see late...We've got a shadpw to stop. Also, therewas something strange about the readings we got off the newcomer.
