Yeah. I do Greek, Slavic, Egyptian, Norse, Asian, etc. for the Warriors of Myth Wiki.

And it has a long way to go before it's complete.

Well there's plenty to delve into.

Axex, Sha, Sta, Sak, Ba, Ka, Ammut, Wadjet...most of their mythical creatures were also worshipped as gods.

Yay! My search for myth creature images for Warriors of Myth wiki is coming awesome!

If you guys find any creatures that you think are particularly interesting (or find new info on well-known creatures), feel free to post it here.

Even feel free to poke fun at some of the weirder ones.

Why does Hera have the epitaph of Goat-Eater?

 'Epithet'.

And I'm guessing that it had something to do with her hatred of sexual infidelity. Goats, in those times, were often associated with lust and raunchy sexuality (um, maybe horns = horny? Think Satyrs). And as goddess of wives and women (a victim of constant infidelity herself), she must have hated anything of that sort which was given to promiscuous nature.

That, or she could have just really liked goat meat. I mean, Demeter's favorite food was corn, like me!

Anyway, what's your favorite obscure god(ess)?

 Oh, dang, that's a toughie.

I mean, I like Philyra, because she was not only the only nymph-goddess that Kronos cheated on Rhea with, but the mother of Chiron, by Kronos. Not to mention, goddess of perfume, paper, writing, healing, divination and beauty. That is frackin' cool.

Then there's Heimarmene and Pepromene, the obscure fate goddesses. Heimarmene basically the goddess of cause and effect, while Pepromene was the goddess of finite nature. They were even discussed by sects of philosophers who otherwise didn't believe in gods.

I'd have to say those two (Heimarmene, and Pepromene) and Tyche run an even tie.
