Have we created a setting yet?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

That will help provide some interesting plot points if done correctly.

Such as having an upper and lower city, where the upper city is built in the air to be off the ground for some reason, and those not worthy to be in the upper city (The morphs if most people don't like morphs) being forced to live in the lower city.

That would be cool.

The Upper city shall be a utopia while the lower city remains a battle ground of conflicting forces.

Ok, so I'm going to rework the power system to make it both fair for everyone and easy to sync with the plotline I have set up.

Perhaps something about the climate has made it hard to live on ground.

Not impossible, but just difficult.

So the rich people can afford to live in upper cities- less rich people have to put up with the ground..

Rework how?

@Zale: I like that
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Make it more level based and have a slightly different feel. Balance the power out for the forms.

Hows this? Everyone starts with their Human form and their full form...nothing else. Upon collecting shards of the artifact you start to unlock more control across the spectrum of your transformation. Imagine your morph kind like this.

(Human)---|----|----|----|----|---(Full Form)

One side you have your human form and on the other, your full form as you progress from one to the other there are several forms in between. You can't stop on those forms initially though.

You can either unlock new forms along the spectrum (5 shards)

Or greater control over forms you already have (3 shards)

Interesting.

May have to rework my character idea now, though...

And create transitory forms..

I figure this way everyone wouldn't be relying solely on their halfway form.
