Re: Monsters On The Run

Gentleman Vaultboy
Now that was intriguing.

"Hey pal, believe it. Trust me, he has one other way to prove it and you don't want to see it. What, do you think we had that dog sculpture just lying around?" He says, gesturing to the petrifies police dog. "And just for the record, me and prettyboy here" he said, throwing a pair of policemans slacks to Alexander, "didn't break into anywhere. I was never a thief and a resent the accusation."

"But while we're on the subject, how far am I from Egypt?"

"Shit, I don't know! Across the ocean in Europe?! Or is it in Africa. I should have studied Geography. " Hysteria was creeping into his voice.

Well, sprinting into it. He was rapidly collapsing into utter panic.

Perhaps someone else could enlighten them.

Well, this was getting awkward fast. Ammon turned his head to the man and woman Hypatos had dragged in. "Hey you two: same question."

"Egypt is across the Atlantic Ocean. Greece is somewhat north of it, I think, so also." The woman said, with the carefully controlled voice of someone trying to please the crazy people that were holding them hostage.

Rei pipes up, "So then how far is it to Yamato? We tend to dress like this."

She forms an illusion of a yukata on her body, then tilts her head to the side inquisitively.

"Japan? That's nearly on the other side of the Earth."

"Eeeeeeh?!? Yamato is now called Japan? Why'd they change it's name to BREAD!?"

(She hasn't seen the kanji for Japan yet so this is just a fun pun with the name)

Big Guy finally manages to lumber over to the rest of his friends leaving a trail of dust and debris from the several doorways he "widened" to reach them.

The policeman squeaked and sank to the ground as the huge golem entered the room.

Ammon calm himself down, before getting a serious face. "But seriously, you should know that they're sending in more of these guys. Right now. He said about six. Now that we're all here, we have to figure out how we're going to handle this."

Then an idea strikes him. He turns back to the police. "Hey pal, how did you call those guys anyway? You're partner didn't run off to get them, he's here. How's you contact your superiors?"

<<Indeed!>> Alex screws up his face in anger, <<And while you're at it, how the hell would I get back to Bohemia? Even being undead, I think I have a life to get back to!>>

The whimpering man muttered something about Radios, gesturing to the two Ammon held.*

*Don't recall if you have them or not, sorry.

Ammon takes the black box off of his belt, and shakes it a bit. "Hello?" he speaks cautiously into it.

Everything is quiet for a few minutes. Nothing comes through. Ammon turns the thing over a few times. Maybe...

He depresses the button on the side. "Hello?"

Alex hurries over, and snatches the black thing away, crouching over and speaking into it, slow, as though speaking to a stupid person, <<HELLO! Do...you...understand...me? Get...me...home! Now, please!>>

Hypatos smacks the device from Alex's hands. "What do you think you're doing! This is no time to play around when our lives are at stake!" He scolds.

"Ammon could very nearly have had them off our back. If they have the magic to create these devices, we do not want to draw their attention."
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
