Hypatos walks back towards the edge of the hole carrying his improvised bucket of water. Setting it down for Ammon he speaks "Ammon I'm going to need you to wash up and take a look at this. Another one of those men in blue is outside poking around. Has some sort of tamed animal that he is following."
(Would Hypatos know what a dog is?)
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
(I assumes so. The Greeks had dogs.)
A hand reaches up and grabs the bucket, pouring it over himself and using it to wash up his hands and face. Unfortunately, he still smells like a sewer. He would have to take care of that when he found a larger body of water. While washing, he calls up. "Maybe they'll just go away if we stay quiet?"

"That would be the best case scenario" Hypatos responds "I just hope they don't have out scent. None of your rags got left behind, right?"

"I could give them a scare... I mean if that's alright with you guys?" She asks a bit nervously, with the whole first impression issue.

"Hey, yeah. You can give him a scare! Try to do something mundane, though. We're kind of hiding out here."

"If you're going to scare him, make sure he thinks the scare is coming from somewhere other than this building" Hypatos suggests "And watch out if he points a small metal object at you, even if I'm mad at you I don't want you to get wounded."

"Don't worry I should be able to get him, but I recommend not looking you might see whatever it was you saw from me before." The boggart says. Sneaking up around the back to reach the officers flank. She taps his shoulder bring up her intimidating image upon him. This should be a good scare.

Hypatos ducks against the inner wall of the building. "Do you think it was wise to let him go out there? We do not know how these blue suits will react" He asks Ammon.

As the man in blue turned to meet his fear. Nothing could escape his breath. The Boggart giving off a triumphant laugh that instilled more fear into the man. Still not learning her lesson on how fear can work for and against you, She doesn't see the human reaching for something at his waist.
Getting a glance at what he pointed at her just as she heard the sound. -BANG, BANG, BANG- Knocked back to the ground for a second time. Maybe fear was just not working out for her right now.

"I warned her! She didn't listen! Our whole home could be compromised now!" Hypatos exclaims, trying to control his voice so that it does not carry to far.
"We have to get down there and help her. Catch that guy too before he brings the whole population down on us. The fox girl may be able to brainwash him or I'll just have to petrify him. Who knows who else is aware of what just happened." Hypatos says all this as he rushes off to help, not waiting for Ammon's response.

"Well, can't win em all."Ammon said, keeping pace with Hypatos, footfalls heavy on the ground. Ammon overtook him as they rounded the corner. The blue man was backing away, reaching for something on his shoulder, when Ammon tackled him to the ground. There was a brief struggle, but Ammon had the weight of history on his side. He pinned the man's arms, at which point he started screaming.
Then he felt the Jaws close around his arm. "Tho dog! The dog! Someone get the dog!"

"I've got it!" Hypatos rushes and opens slightly opens the jaw off Ammon. Once it is opened enough to not be suck on Ammon, Hypatos petrifies the dog and pushes it off.
"Take him around back. I'll lift the new girl and the dog. We can sneak back in by the metal platform I mentioned earlier (Fire Escape) and decide what to do."

"Got it." Said Ammon, hauling the man to his feet and dragging him up the metal staircase Hypatos had told him about.
Once safely back inside, he slapped a hand over the bluemmans mouth. He shook his head sternly NO.

"Ammon, check on the girl, we need to know how many times she got hit" Hypatos says as he sets her down and throws the petrified dog in the corner "I'm going to check back outside, there might have been more people who saw."

He glances over at the dog, frozen solid in stone, and shivers. So that's what it did. Yeah, that was a bad curse.
"Right, I'm on that." Ammon replies, taking another bandage and binding up his hand and feet. He rips up a wad of carpet, shoves it in the mans mouth, then wraps that to. Satisfied, Ammon goes over to the new girl. "Hey, are you okay? HEY! Freight girl, are you okay? One of those things went right through me, are you hurt?"

Hypatos finds a man and woman standing outside at the scene of the abduction. The two had definitely moved closer to where the even had taken place but were still keeping a safe distance from the entryway to the ally. Hypatos moves closer, hiding and waiting for the right moment to strike. Other than the two, the only humans Hypatos could see where the few that moved around in the strange crates of metal, and they did not stay long enough to prove a problem
"Yes, I've got her with me and I'm keeping her safe" The man says speaking into the air "Do you think I should call the cops? If I told them I saw a dog turn to stone they would laugh me out of town, not to mention the horror I saw at the start of it all." The man did not have time to finish his imaginary conversation. Hypatos moved in swiftly, and with two blows with his inhuman strength, knocked the two civilians out. He quickly sets about dragging them away and bringing them up to Ammon.

"Would you rather me just petrify them now?!" Hypatos exclaims, panicking at the turn of events. "They saw everything! I don't even know if I covered up our tracks well enough. One of them was clearing passing on the events to another but all I saw him doing was talking to thin air."
"The only thing I'm counting on is that one of the more magical of us will be able to alter their minds or I'm going to have to get rid of them" he says as he begins pacing the room, racking his brain for a solution.

Ammon binds the others as well, reluctantly. "Oh, they are going to be SO mad when they get back."
Ammon looks over the girl one last time. He had no idea if she was dead or alive under all those rags, but something kept him from removing them for a better look. A sense of foreboding took him over whenever he tried, like he DID NOT want to see what was under them. Like the feeling he got from Hypatoses eyes, but worse and all concentrated in the pit of his stomach. Instead, he went over to the man in blue, rolling down the bandage and pulling the carpet from his mouth. "Where's the other one? C'mon, don't give me that look; guards never work alone. Where is the other one?"
