Marv's Fancy Animation Thread.

Zale has his art thread and now I have my Animation thread. And this is one fancy thread if I do say so myself. I'll be using it to showcase the animation that I create for both the SPL and DeviantART. You can be sure to expect more animations from me soon.

You guys can discuss ones I've made or help me to create new ones. I've even got one in the works as we speak.

 Looks pretty cool.

This will be my first full length story animation. I'll be using several characters, background music, an actual plot and.....(wait for it)........Voice acting!

I doubt I'll ever have that level of skill, but I appreciate the sentiment.

You could. You never know the advancements in technology that will be made in years to come.

They might discover/invent something that allows you to increase spatial sense, hand-eye coordination and other mental aspects that make up a good artist.

They already have a device that can pull images out of your head. It's in the testing and developmental stages but still.

But, yes, as I was saying, I think you have a hope to greatly hone your skills as an animator. Even an artist, if you want. And I hope I'm there to see it.

So, its a story, narrated by the cool as ice Bard seen in my avatar, about a young kid who wants to be one of those heroes of legend. Unfortunately for this kid, his family is poor as dirt and living in the middle of nowhere.

Through a series of convenient events, our hero ( if you can call him that) makes his way to the nearest city where he finds what's left of the Hero's guild, the once famed home of the worlds greatest heroes and legends. To his dismay he finds that the guild is in severe disrepair and the only people living there are three former heroes. A warrior with a drinking problem, a lazy and irresponsible wizard, and a silent dwarf. They tell the kid that heroes have all but died out in the world because nobody needs them anymore, but they'd be willing to take the kid in and tell him what they know.

Meanwhile, an age old enemy slowly returns to a world that does not remember him. Of course his plan is to establish himself once more as the feared master of evil and so begins his rampage.

This is pretty much as far as I'll go with it for now and I may continue it into several episodes.
