Lords of Creation (Story Thread 2)

Pike continued in his own language, the magic of Deva allowing her to understand him.

"Ah, so you a member of the Divine. Forgive me for not instantly understanding this. This form muddles my mind somewhat." He paused briefly to smile before continuing, "My kind was made by none other than the Goddess of the Sea herself."

"Ah, yes, I should of guessed, but do I detect a second hand in your design?" Deva inquires "Another being who added their power to your race?"

[Zaleramancer]

"Yes, of course. The Watchman gifted my kind with the ability to take on this form." Pike waved his hand over the humanoid form he presently possessed, "It is rather useful."

[Philote]

"Yes, I see now, but you still seem to be missing something" Deva muses "Magic? No, that would not meld as well."

"So, Pike, Is there something you have wished to be capable of?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Your name is Sonia?" The red girl inquired, "Is that, like, a name from the other village? Never heard of a name like that before."

The blue boy stepped up, and gestured to himself with his thumb, "Name's Rox. This is my girlfriend, Linessa, and my best friend Gosso. And I was wondering, like my friend and my girl probably were...not to be rude or anything, but...why are you all one color?"

"Um, does white even really count as a color?" Linessa asked innocently, "It kind of makes me think of a blank canvas...the absence of color."

"No, I'm pretty sure black is the absence of color." Gosso thought aloud, putting his hand on his chin, inspecting Sonia closely.

The three simultaneously dismissed their own inquiries, and turned to the goddess to await what SHE had to say.

Koneko wandered around helping with all of the workers as she could and taking anyone that she found injured for some reason or another to the area that the healers were at. She heard some screaming in pain in the area, but did it really concern her? No, probably not. After all, the healers knew what they were doing and she knew what she was doing: Helping others out.

As they watched over the work on the Core Temple, Lily and Kyouko cast two more Miracles (-0 motes, Inherent Action for both). The first made the Zombies, whom they had just learned of from the Shadow-Scarred and Hengeyokai, more resistant to pain. The stronger the Zombie, the more pain they could  resist. The second Miracle gave the stronger Zombies a powerful mental protection to prevent them from being influenced or mentally controlled.

Kagehana watched the arena, waiting for the match between the Watchman and the 3 Goliaths. She'd fought alongside the Watchman once before but wanted to see how he would fight by himself.

Mina was tired of waiting for the match between the Watchman and the 3 Goliaths to start and let Mikoto and the others know that she'd be wandering around outside Spectropolis. She walked outside and quickly found Illusia and Suna, who had just finished making the Endless Bag. Mina greeted the two and quickly determined which of the Artifacts she'd requested had been made. Then she joined hands with Suna and Illusia and the three of them cast 2 Miracles and 1 Smite (-0 motes, Miracle is Inherent Action for both Mina and Illusia while Smite is an Inherent Action for Suna). The first Miracle gave the Zombies of medium or higher power the ability to not need to breathe, the second Miracle gave the Zombies immunity to diseases of any kind, and the Smite made weak Lycanthropes incapable of controlling when they would shift from human form to wolf form. They would only transform whenever the moon was full or when feeling extreme bloodlust or battlelust.

"Excuse me for a moment Crav" Gilgamesh commented. While the Watchman was preparing he would begin the second round.

"The first match of the second round, Bo the Quick versus Revei the Brave, will begin momentarily. The fighters should make their way into the ring" He called out.

When he was done, he returned to Crav "So, what is your stance on creating the tournament's reward?"

"I would be honored to make such an item for the reward."

"Excellent" Gilgamesh says as he conjures up eight scrolls "Would you pass these on to your best crafter as well? I'd like them to work on the design and materials, I'll add the energy to the finished objects later."

"Oh, and what do these designs contain?"

[Philote]

"Artifacts for my heroes, hopefully your crafters can improve on the designs. Do not worry I'll supply the enery for their function after they are made."

Lily and Kyouko continued concentrating on casting 2 more Miracles while watching the construction (-0 motes, Inherent for both). The first Miracle gave the Succubi and Incubi of medium or higher power-levels armor-like skin. This would protect them from being harmed by weaker attacks during battles and hopefully prevent unnecessary deaths. The second gave the strong Lycanthropes the ability to manipulate their own hair as needed.

Mina concentrated with Suna and Illusia on casting yet again 2 Miracles and 1 Smite (-0 motes, Miracle is Inherent for Mina and Illusia, Smite is Inherent for Suna). The first Miracle gave the stronger Zombies a high resistance to all poisons. The second Miracle gave the Lycanthropes of medium or higher power claws that were constantly poisoned. They are of course gained immunity to their own poisons. The Smite gave the medium and weaker Vampires one more racial weakness that they would lose upon becoming strong: water. The weakness could be neutralized though only by putting special herbs into the water itself.

"Goodbye to you as well" crav called back as he left to start brainstorming.

"Surely in your wisdom, you can think of a suitable gift."

[Zaleramancer]

"Not another village.. exactly. It's from much farther away than that." She began, "As for my coloration, I am a member of the Swan School of Martial Fighting. It's traditional to have a priest change your hair and eyes to match the school's color."  

The goddess seemed to pause, reminiscing.

"My husband is a member of the Boar School, and his eyes and hair are red."
