Sonia only seems to gain momentum, moving faster and hitting harder.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Eventually only Balasar is left. "I'll make you pay for this" Balasar growled, he body partly visible from the blood covering it.

A flick of the sword to remove some of the blood is Sonia's only response.
"Show me."

The Reasonable moves between the Babysitter and Dephos, looks her in the eye, and starts in a low, level voice.
"I can only imagine that was some variant of "how dare you." Well, I'll tell you. Someone attacked out home. Someone who could manipulate Mik Haels crystal, used copies of a monster I Personally witnessed him bringing to the city, and looks, according to BS and Grace, like Mik Hael. And then we have you all leaving literally moments before all the chaos starts. I want you to take a deep breath, a step back, and tell me how this looks." He lets it hang in the air a moment, before continuing. "Now, I don't think he's the one that did it. Things don't add up if he was the mastermind, but I only have the evidence of my eyes and that might not be good enough for some other gods. Goodness knows what Gilgamesh would have done if one of those monsters had fallen on the arena. I need solid evidence that he wasn't involved. We are on your side." "Now," he turned to Archiver, "You said the mirror wasn't on his person when you found him?"

Balasar stretched up to his full height. He would show this woman a dragon's fury. Acid and his daggers filled the air and the Dragonborn leader attacked.

A scruffy looking crow flaps around mountainous crystal.
It didn't at all like the look of that. No sir.. The crow dropped off towards a nearby abandoned island. It would wait a time.

Sonia twirled as Balasar charged and what remained of her cloak blocked the acid fury. The woman let her momentum carry her around, sword extended towards the advancing Dragonborn.

The blade struck true.
The Dragonborn's career was brought to an abrupt end. Balasar's glared up at Sonia as he bled out on the floor.

".. I wonder If I'll regret this later."
Sonia muttered as she clapped her hands together. A sound like a trumpet and a battle cry bounced around the cave. Each of the Dragonborn suddenly felt a lot more alive. (Miracle -3, Create Minor God (Sonia, long withstanding) -6. 11 Motes remaining to... a certain god. Guess which one.) Sonia said as her clothing slowly returned to normal. She began to wipe the blood off her swords. "I am Sonia, Minor Goddess of Experience. I am the daughter of Time and Wisdom, the sister of Diligence and the wife of War." "Who are you, warrior?"

Balasar awoke again into life, the one who had killed him and his men starring back at him. His dagger was already headed for her throat before he took his first breath. His men would follow suit.

The rising Dragonborn suddenly found himself on the floor again.
"What part of 'Goddess' did you fail to comprehend?" Sonia said as she flicked the knife into the cave wall, where it sunk hilt-deep. "I'm going to have to convince you, aren't I?"

It was a glorious new day, Pessimal had finished all of his interviews, had compiled everything into a form that was easy to read and was ready to send it off. Mileena was handling that part.
"Now," she said to Trepidation, her fastest pigeon, "when you get there, make sure to peck the bell so that they know to feed you." Pessimal thought of Stanly, who was in charge of feeding the Birds while Mileena was away. While she was in the office, they fed on only the finest birdseed. When she was out, the mostly fed on poor Stanly. But that was all behind them, as trepidation took fight and made it's way back to the Dailies main offices. "Alright, now lets head back, eh Mileena. Torbins all on his lonesome." She turned to him. "Oh, Pessimal, it's our friend from last night." He turned around and was nose to nose with the enigmatic madam Gant. He took a few steps back. How was she so quiet? Neverthless, he removed his hat out of respect. "Miss Gant, what a pleasure to see you again." Torbin could hold his own for a while, couldn't he? After all, Pessimal had a feeling about this woman.

"Would you have preferred to remain dead? It can be arranged. I only attacked you because your minions held a knife to my throat. I was considering merely questioning your actions. As far as I know, you murder anyone who wanders past."
Sonia "I do admit that the temptation for battle overwhelmed me. Which is why I am at least attempting to... make amends, I suppose. In essence you have a divinity who wishes to do you a favor. Can you not find some way to turn that to your advantage?"

"It is done."
Sonia faded away like a pale silhouette. The goddess reappeared several miles away, sitting on a boulder overlooking a lake. Like everything in the Fair Goddess's realm, it mocked the world with it's impossible beauty. "This world is so strange. Everything is different. Is this how it always is?" Sonia wrapped her arms around her legs. "I don't know how she stands so many worlds."

Balasar would do his best to recover from the attack. A Minor-Spirit had walked straight in and massacred them all. They would recovered due to her miracle, but their morale was severely wounded.
Meanwhile, on Gilgamesh's continent, Yojimbo recieved a report of the happenings. He had a name now, he would just have to decide how to deal with her when he found her.

Draias had just unveiled his newest invention: a technique for identifying residue of individual fingerprints. The whole town was in an uproar, and marveled at Draias' genius. Now, they were sure they were ready to find whoever was on the loose taking their belongings.
And to celebrate, there would be a spur of the moment festival. Not a big event, just members of the town bringing what resources they could to have a good time, but it would mean a lot. It would be open to even citizens of the neighboring towns, and would host all manner of various talents that the Boquabians had picked up on in the past couple days. A talent show, they would call it. A show for everyone's talents. There would be poetry, music, dance and plenty of other arts. It would be a lovely event, humble though it was. And perhaps the most talented of those Boquabians would be more than happy to miss out on it. As the others prepared their celebratory efforts, smiling at the idea of showing off what they had learned from that mysterious Prophetess and her siblings, three young Boquabians wandered elsewhere with only the love goddess's entertainment in mind. "If I could only sense her perfect visage// And receive her truly perfect embrace// And be pleasing to the one dispensing pleasure// Honest joy would always be upon my face//" A handsome, white haired, light-blue-skinned Boquabian spoke with a soft muse to his red-skinned, white-haired girlfriend, who giggled at his charming smile as they walked. In return she responded affectionately with pure-voiced song: "And if we could only share her immortality// Forever looking 'round at all of Creation// Always loving, and always being loved// It would mean our eternal jubilation//" As the two serenaded one another, a third, thinner, orange-skinned, blond-haired boy gave himself over to the pure joy of the love that he felt for the goddess. His movements were easy and fitting to his lithe, flexible form. It was as though he knew the whole of the land, dancing around trees, over rocks, even using them to perform some of his moves. The three knew hardship (they weren't exactly the richest of citizens), but they were happy. And running across a stranger in the wilderness did nothing to change that. In fact, at the sight of this snow-white-colored lady, their curiosity was piqued, and they grew yet happier. Curiosity often led to new knowledge and fun adventures... With that, the blue boy stopped his friends to wave hello and greet the stranger.

Mina thought to respond to Atlas; to riposte or parry or thrust or dodge or bob or weave or defend with an attack of her own. She could not, however, for her body was caught by the blades before she could think to twitch. Her gut and her left shoulder both pinned, she could only respond with pained grunts and groans all other motions would be futile.
Sadly, but surely, Mina the Sly would slowly watch her life fade before her very eyes. Her cunning had been a failure.

Anima traveled up a mountain in the Plane of Heroes. Lore was such a large being that one had to travel upwards to talk to his face. The mountain had a path to a platform at the top, but the Major-Spirit simply flew his way up.
At the top, Anima was surprised to find the Deva already present. Lore turned his head to face him and spoke. "I am the Lorekeeper, I already know of why you are here and I approve your actions." "And he ripped me from the tournament to help" the Deva added. Anima's voice crackled with energy "You can return when we are finished. If both of you are ready, then follow my lead." "You two are too serious" the Deva replies as she moves into place across from Anima. The Deva and Anima's automaton pointed their palms at each other and focused their energy. Lore focused his gaze on the two and power flowed from his eyes into the mix. Lore's titan body became more mechanical with magical circuitry covering it as he copied Anima's Djinn's lamp for the process. The three where creating a strong miracle to cover all of Gilgamesh's races. Allowing a race to develop new traits through their heroic actions, as well as allowing any member to advance in strength after participating in a battle (Miracle x2) "It is done" Anima states when the energy is sent off. "And I have places to be" The Deva says as a portal opens behind her and Anima. The two Major-Spirits leave and Lore returns to his work.
