As they helped with work on the temple, Lily and Kyouko noticed 2 specific workers. One was a Lycanthrope named Sora and the other a Succubus named Mizuna. Sora appeared to have a great interest in blacksmithing and some skill in it as well while Mizuna appeared to be a great healer especially using her natural illusion abilities to dampen down pain. Lily and Kyouko made the two heroes in charge of making sure supplies were of good quality and weel-made (Sora) and that workers didn't overwork themselves (Mizuna) (-0 motes, Create Hero x2, both Lily and Kyouko have as Inherent Actions). This would hopefully make everything more efficient.

Mina had fallen away from him, and appeared to be open for Atlas' next assault. Swinging his blade overhead, he made it thinner and stretched it out, causing the now longer blade to fall towards the downed hero.
--------------------------------------------- The Dragonborn would not be leaving the cave again until night. Balasar kept tight control of his men, and they respected his power. They would rest until nightfall, save a few who would remain on guard duty.

Mina's eyes widened, and she let up her Tessen to block the blade. If she was going to lose, she wasn't going to lose so quickly. And not like this. She struggled with all her might to riposte the oncoming sword. She was so not used to dealing with foes head-on, and now she realized it would not serve her. Though she preferred the element of surprise, she knew that, in the future, she would have to improve her capability in head-on matches, too. She cursed herself for not thinking of that before.

Atlas continued to press down on the blade, if she was going to deflect it, he was going to make her waste her energy to do it.

Mina glared at Atlas as he pressed down on her. Curse his superior strength. But, then again, she thought, strength was always kinda overrated. She had beaten Tyran plenty times. That said, she gave one quick adrenaline-fueled thrust to push away the sword, and as she ducked away, brought a slicing Tessen across Atlas' Achilles' tendon.

Atlas' armor covered nearly every section of his body. The only exposed areas were the palms of his hands, the soles of his feet, and his head.
Mina's strike sliced against his armor, throwing him off balance.

And as he stumbled, Mina tumbled backward, and lunged forward, with her Tessen splayed, for Atlas' neck. If she didn't take him out quickly, his stronger stature would certainly tire her out, making her dexterity and agility more likely to falter.

The Tessen sliced through Atlas' neck, causing him to stagger but not to fall as Mina expected. The hero turned and stared into the eyes of his opponent, the slice still clear on his neck.
The armor on his arm separated into multiple sections. Atlas' golden arm raised its sword and stretched out towards Mina, launching away from him. Tier Two: Liquid Being

Having made her deal with Yojimbo, Uburra-Namall decided she would retire to her mountaintop home with Jassi and Jissei. After all, as some mysterious prophetess, she and her companions themselves had been among the Boquabians and witnessed their ingenuity. She kept her eyes glued to the town below, hoping and anticipating that she had taught her creations well.
--------------------------------------------- "Who in the depths of damnation has been plaguing our town of late?!" A green man growled, "My shop has turned up short on inventory TWICE today!" "The same here!" A pink woman with blue freckles complained, "And my sister over in the neighboring town said her husband's shop was robbed, too!" There came murmurs of worry, complaint and outright anger. What the heck were they going to do about these villains, whoever they were? How would they track them down, identify them and deal with them? These things seemed puzzling, and perplexing. Then a voice spoke up, emerging from his home. A bespectacled deep-blue man, bald, came out into the midst of the crowd, and bade everyone look into his hand. "Ahem", he cleared his throat, "If you wouldn't mind, I'd like your attention please. Feast your eyes...on this." He held up a peculiar thing, small, and unfamiliar to anyone else in the crowd. "What is it?" spoke an orange boy. "It's a scale." The blue man replied, "A reptile scale." The Boquabians marveled. No reptile had a scale like that, right? Not a lizard. Not a snake. Not a turtle. Not even an alligator or a crocodile. And what's more, it seemed to have a dab of blood at the end. That dab of blood, the blue man insisted, was the thing they were looking for. It had to have some kind of significance to tell what sort of folk they were looking for. True enough, they hadn't known of any people with scales, but perhaps they had a pet with them that was injured. And if so, they would have to seek some kind of medical attention soon, lest that beloved pet meet an undeservedly unpleasant end. But just in case, the blue man continued, he was working on a machine that could spray a substance to cling to areas spattered with blood and sweat. His special brew just needed a final sticky ingredient, and it would glow on contact. Those areas where things had been stolen would be doused with the finished solution, and --because undoubtedly, a criminal would sweat in the act of a crime-- a handprint would be made apparent, so he and some other keen-eyed volunteers, would overlook the prints. By size and shape of the hand, they could at least narrow down the possible suspects. Immediately evaluating the idea as a brilliant scheme, the Boquabians cheered, and those who possessed especial skills, in one field or another, headed off to work with the blue man with his plan. The inventions he mentioned, and more, would be needed to scout out the thieves in their midst.

Abject failure, that was all he had found n the desert. The Watchman and the Veteran finally landed back within the walls of Spectropolis. They did not look well. Gods didn't.t have to sleep, but they looked like they could use some.
"I can't believe it. We looked all night! How could there be nothing?" "Not ta mention we made fools of ourselves in front of them pretty ladies." "Are you still on abut that?" Said the Watchman, rounding on him. "There are more important things going on right now!" "Whoa, boss. Easy." he says, placing a hand on the Watchman's shoulder. "Look, you can't always be on the edge like this. Look, just go about your day as normal, and leave things to me for today, right? That's why ya made me. You keep pushing yourself, all stressed out like this, you're going to make stupid decisions." The Watchman looked at him, and sighed. "Perhaps you are right." The Veteran brought his hand hard on The Watchmans shoulder. "Ha, damn straight." "I think I'll go and watch the tournament, then." "Right you will. And you won't think of this whole nasty business for the whole day." "Right, yes." he said, walking away toward the arena. The Veteran grinned. This was great. He would start as soon as the Reasonable got back.

Brynhildr (Succubus) walked across the city hall to the room the elders were in. She'd had a 'complaint' about the way the city of Katakana was run and the elders hadn't taken it well. Now, they were going to pass judgement on her actions. She opened the doors to the room and entered. The elder's council was made up of a Succubus, an Incubus, a Yukionna, a Yukiotoko, a Shadow-Scarred, a Vampire, and a Lycanthrope. They sat around a round table and faced Brynhildr as she entered. Shadow: "Brynhildr, you understand why you are here today before us?" Brynhildr: "Yes, that I do and I regret nothing." Succubus: "Very well then. We shall now pass the judgement we and the rest of Lady Mina's cities decided on for your actions: Brynhildr Homura, you are banished now from all of Lady Mina's lands and never allowed to return again for attempting to kill 5 Imps, 5 Lycanthropes, 5 Vampires, and 5 Shadow-Scarred unprovoked. You will leave now with the hero Kira as your escort." Kira enters and leads Brynhildr to the edge of Mina's lands and pushes her out, "Begone Brynhildr and never return." Brynhildr: "I will leave but I will come back and with allies. You won't be rid of me forever." Brynhildr opens her wings and flies away in a random direction, heading towards the lands of Uburra-Namall. (Total: 4 motes)

Brynhildr arrived at a landmass and saw several mountains, forests and various other terrain. The most interesting thing she saw though was a statue made of diamond which immediately meant that there was some level of civilization on this island. All she had to do now was find it, and once she did it would be fun.

Diamond watched curiously as yet another visitor passed overhead. She quickly sent a mental message to The Mountain, where Uburra-Namall assured her it was alright. She was strange looking, but seemed harmless enough. Not to mention, she had no desire to be bothered by more gods entreating that their favored folks be spared her retaliation.

Mina looked at the arm, again dumbfounded by such strange capabilities, and quickly put her Tessen together. Fortunately, Jassi had at least made sure to add a connecting function, so the two could act as a shield. She could do no more than dodge the attack, and hold the shield up to her side as she ran around Atlas' side, searching for an opening.

Brynhildr wandered around until she found a village, then hid, cast an illusion on herself to appear to be a hawk, and waited for nightfall. When it came, Brynhildr would have her fun killing a few of the villagers and eating their hearts.

Upon hearing the news that Brynhildr had been exiled, Lily and Kyouko took a quick break from building the temple and make a blessing for the Secret Religion (-0 motes, Inherent Blessing). This blessing would entail that anyone exiled from Lady Mina's lands or excommunicated from the Secret Religion would forget the locations of the Divine Artifacts holding the protective law up on Lady Mina's lands as well as all of the defenses protecting those Divine Artifacts from theft. While they were at it, they also cast two Miracles (-0 motes, Inherent Actions for both Lily and Kyouko). The first one gave stronger Lycanthropes, including Sora, to use hybrid forms instead of just purely wolf or purely human forms. The second one gave stronger Yukionna and Yukiotoko, including the Twin Heroes, the ability to control the temperature of their bodies to become extremely cold to the touch or burning hot for enemies immune or resistant to the cold.

The blue investigator, named Draias, was on a roll. He had been up all night, and with the help of numerous assistants and colleagues, was now the proud first inventor of a machine to uncover traces of bodily fluids; blood, sweat, you name it. In addition, he had helped create a database of the hand, foot and fingerprints of every Boquabian in the town. He had instructed every citizen to copy the entire alphabet onto a sheet of paper, and turn in all papers to he and his staffers. He was even working to find out how an animal's keen sense of smell might be used to hone in on one scent trail or another, and whether or not species could be distinguished by differences in their blood.
The man was ingenious, and his goddess Uburra-Namall did not let his talent for intellectual pursuits go unnoticed. Once these pesky invaders had been dealt with, she would be sure to reward his efforts, and the most devoted of his assistants.

Having gained enough momentum in her run, she stopped short when she reached the wall of the arena, ran up it a short ways, and quickly backflipped over the golden warrior Atlas' head, pulling the Tessen-Shield apart in an attempt to slice the back of his neck in the process.

Crav, bored and drunk as usual, was pacing about the outskirts of Spectropolis. The new nameless goddess he had created had left him and he was searching for something to do once again. Perhaps...yes, he would craft to fill the boredom.
Crav sat upon the ground and began to draw materials from the earth. Now, what should he work with? Metal? Stone? Clay? Yes, clay sounded good, but what to craft. Crav sat for a very long time, a lump of clay before him. He could think of nothing he wished to craft. Then it occurred to him, why not create everything, in a way. Concentrating his power, Crav formed part of the clay into a container. He enchanted both it and the remaining clay with his power. When he was done he was left with the Clay of Creation, clay that could be willed into any form or material. (-12 motes, Create Divine Artifact, Motes Left: 17)
