Jissei pointed off into the distance, "An abandoned house at the other end of town. We can talk there, and nobody would suspect."

Jassi and Jissei walked somewhat ahead, while Uburra-Namall stayed behind to chat with Yojimbo along the way.

"So what are you doing in this disguise, stirring up something among the mortals?"

As they waited for the match between Atlas of the Endreakians and Mine the Sly of the Boquabians to begin, Mina sent Suna and Illusia outside of Spectropolis to do a few things for her. The first thing Illusia did upon leaving Spectropolis' limits though was to disguise both herself and Suna with divine illusions (-0 motes, Inherent Miracle). They then worked on what Mina wanted making a set of 10 tessen, the Reino Tessen (-6 motes, Create Artifact). These would be the prize for Nayotake no Hime if she won.

"Inspiring them. I would rather them take their inspiration from a prophetess than a goddess." Uburra-Namall replied simply, "It's meant to inspire creativity, not provide instruction. And for some reason or another, even my opinion comes across to them as law. So...here I am, mortal."

[Philote]

"They will not be able to put any of it to good use if they have nothing to overcome" Yojimbo replies as he enters the house "and I believe I can help with that. You should be aware of a foreign mortal presence by now."

Mina hurried back to the stands beside Zai, Revei, Bo and Tyran.

"Okay, um, it's my turn." Mina told them, picking up her Twin Tessen, "Hold my seat and wish me luck."

She departed from the stands, telling herself along the way that she would put forth her best.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"I am." Uburra-Namall said as they finally reached the hut, "I imagine your wanting to talk to me has to do with them."

[Philote]

Atlas watched as his opponent hurried into the arena. He silently raised one of his golden hands, and the strange substance of his skin stretched out into a blade.

The horns sound signalling the start of the match.

Tier One: Blade Forger

"I believe we are on the same page" Yojimbo says as he takes a seat within the house. "Allow the mortals to deal with them in any way they see fit, but I would like to suggest that your pantheon keeps their hands out of the business. Surely you must think your race capable of dealing with such a small band."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Uburra-Namall smirked, "Oh, that's your game, eh? Set a band of hoodlums into my lands, and expect me to sit back and hope they make the right decisions? Fine, then, Jimbo. I'll keep quiet. Their gifts in creativity and inspiration should help them do just fine against their like. You've got yourself a deal."

The goddess extended a hand for a shake.

Mina held her tessen firmly, and looked her enemy over. A second or so longer, and she assured herself she'd find a weak spot.

[Philote]

"You've certainly proved yourself to be understanding", Yojimbo says as he shakes her hand, "I believe you will be pleased with the results when your race overcomes these legends in the making."

"I will be leaving a Divine Servitor to keep track of their progress of course."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Naturally." Uburra-Namall narrowed her eyes a bit, thinking with a smirk, And I should hope you don't mind when I get around to returning the favor.

[Philote]

Atlas lunged at his opponent, striking out with his one hand holding the sword. It was just an experimental strike to draw out the power his opponent held.

[Philote]

Yojimbo departed from the meeting, curious as to where these small series of events would lead.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Mina waited for Atlas to get as close as she could wait, and then did a backflip dodge, bringing up her Tessen to slice Atlas as she landed.

[Philote]

Atlas uses his blade to deflect the incoming tessen, then does several more experimental strikes. When he feels ready to throw his opponent off guard, he raises up his free hand and forms another sword to strike out of nowhere.

Narrowly dodging the second sword, Mina brings up a Tessen to slice the hand holding it.

[Philote]

Mina strikes the armor of Atlas' left hand, knocking the blade away. In response, Atlas grows the blade in his other hand while sweeping it down.

[Zaleramancer]

This was growing to be tedious.

Sonia considered just going towards the cave and shouting.

Mina puts up her Tessen again, only this time being knocked away. She almost gets her footing, before falling on her behind. Though, fortunately, she had taken Zai's advice and fastened her Tessen to her hands. She wouldn't so easily lose hold of them.
