Right again.

Chaos is not always subtle.

What you described just now was getting others to carry out your dirty work for you.

That's manipulative. Insidious, but not subtle by any means.

You're right, but Gilgamesh can have a favorite form of Conflict, can't he?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Wulf, you'd know more than me: did Ares ever instigate a war? I mean, I know he fought in some mortal wars, but I don't remember him ever starting any.

No. It was Eris who reveled in instigation and stirring up strife. She along with Ate, the goddess of ruin and delusion, who always liked to trick the gods into getting mad at one another (until she got booted off Olympus for being terrible).

But despite being the god presiding over war, he never started, nor ended, any war. Only participated to make them worse and worse.

A small orb placed in the center of the land. It cannot be moved, it cannot be altered, it cannot be touched. Every now and then it moves closer to one god before going back to the center and moving closer to another god. One is given information to believe it is a weapon, another is given information to prove that is is a spy, none know what is is from, all deny it was made, eventually tension builds, the orbs movements become more pronounced, until it rings around the land and then it dissapears. It could not be detected by devine power, and only could be seen through sight. For all they know, it is now in their land. For all they know any of the other god's could be listening to their every move. For all they know their kingdoms could be destroyed at any moment. Tormoil grows, and a war begins.

Guys, seriously...this is all pointless debating. Let's drop it all. And I do mean all of it, and move on. No more arguing. Nobody gets the last word and we just move on.

A small plague strikes the land of two gods that are having a disagreement, both plagues bear the mark of the other. Neither believe that they instigated the plague, and one hurts my people and the people of all others as well. Discord spreads, I stay in the background.

The seas, begin to become cursed, with a very small thing, bjust beyond notice. all those who drink the water of the planet or feel it's rain, become a part of this curse. the curse does very little, simply altering logic, enraging those who are near it.

The dead, begin to rise. the second one falls, hey are reborn as a beast. These things, are under no contorl, they simply drain life, and eat. as more dei, they will grow, as they die, they will release their toxin into the world and slowly eat away at it's existence. Until the atmosphere is filled with a balck miasma.

I don't like subtle, in most cases, it's boring. I like beating someone eight turns ago, and slowly closing the walls until they scream in agony or rage.

I am chaos.
