Well let's see. A combination of several factors to begin with I suppose.

A filter across the dimension which forces artifacts to basically be ripped away from the wearer and remain in the physical realm.

A vibrational radiation spread throuhgout the dimension which sneds forth waves of chaos seperating the gods from their domains and the strength of the omni.

Warped laws of physics rendering normal powers next to useless.

Etc.
