Just a reminder that Kitsune are Mina's Greater Mythical Creatures and thus the offer of one as an escort is not given lightly.

At what point where they created? I'm trying to determine if Anima would even know about them.

The Kitsune were created right after Mina arrived on Gammara, whereas Anima was created after Spectropolis was created. The Kitsune are actually older than Anima now that I think about it.

Just to make it clear, every time I do that thing where I prompt someone to travel and then I cut to a scene at the destination that's a signal that I don't plan to have anything happen along the way and the character can just move there without issue. Unless, of course, you want something to happen on the way.

The thing about watchers is you have to be careful when talking to them. They're almost, but not quite, people so you never know when you're going to plant an idea in their head or awaken some latent memory.
