It's hard to decide on that. On one hand, it would be cool to have a race of sentient boats, on the other hand, Fortune has a personality and a unique concept behind him... As it stands, though, Fortune is a hero which means he can't be a Greater Mythical Creature, only a Lesser Mythical Creature or part of a Race.
In the end though, I vote for Fortune being a Lesser Mythical Creature.

@Vault: I would say leave him as a Hero.
When should we start progressing time forward? I think we are running past all the things we could do within one day. @Marv: Murozond is waiting in your land.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
I've actually been moving time forward for a while. It was dusk when I sicked the Balasaurs on Boquabia, so now it's moving into early night. I just need to finish a the scene with Aliea Vim before I initiate the Grand Finale.

I'll see if I can't knock out updates for all the storylines I'm in in one go sometime this week. But first I gotta figure out which ones I'm in...
There's the Crav outside Spectorpolis Stohlen's criminal activities The Lamp in Alabastra Private Fotz Sonia's "date" That thing with Von Trapt...maybe? What else?

I think that's all of them, besides the looming civil war. Also Aox was doing something.

Oh right...Aox
Gotta think of a way to make him relevant again.

And I think I'm gonna let Uburra-Namall and her lot cool down a bit longer. Jissei and Stohlen interact for now, then the Angels investigating on Gammara, and THEN maybe back to the good-guy deities.

Anima will get back to Von Trapt as soon as I can make it logical for Anima to travel again. Vault already said he had the end of the day events though up already. Anima should be good to go once the next day starts.

@Vault: I want Midas to meddle with things some more. Maybe see if I can start defining his character more.
I thought maybe he could try to make a deal with some poor person of a race of your choice, or maybe carry out a deal for one side of those two bickering races of yours.

I see no flaws in that idea.
Of course it's a bit late for me to object. But yeah, crippling overspecialization is a thing that can happen. Especially, in fact, since most gods are made with a purpose in mind.

There are surprisingly few kingdoms.
Hazet's old kingdom is now four nations, one of which (Called the Old Kingdom in the common tongue) is ruled by him directly. The other four are a military dictatorship, an magical oligarchy and a republic.

If it is alright with you, Vault, I think I'm going to try and combine these ideas. I'm thinking Midas' target might be a Vandal woman who has been made poor/homeless due to the Vandal / Fomor-Gravi feud.

GV:I know you have some mischief in mind, but do you mind if I ask for a bit of specifics? Just generally causing a bit of plot-progressing conflict, or something more clearly-defined?

Well, thanks for the kind words, but to be honest, I don't feel like my part has been very amazing.
I feel like all the plots I wanted to do, turned up short, never following through to a total conclusion...
