In the east of Alabastra, there is a small (very small) kingdom on the edge of the Sapphire River...I haven't got around to using it in the story yet though...

but I did draw it on the map

No, that's Undertown. That's a different set of tunnels entirely that's part of the city. Vandal nation tunnels run all over the desert, they have whole separate cities out there under the dunes. On paper they're two separate nations with their own laws and government but in practice they're basically the same country, and there are a lot of really weird, muddy distinctions between what's the cities and what's the Vandals.

For example, the Green Belts technically belong to the city even though the Vandals are the ones that work them and the food they produce goes to feed both the city and the Vandals. Vandals can live in the city but still be counted as members of the Vandal nation. Just a weird symbiotic relationship.

Ok, but he is currently in Spectropolis so it'll have to happen there, unless you have a neat idea of how to get him elsewhere.

No, he's present in Spectropolis, but the plan has yet to be put into effect. Nor has Stohlen's soon-to-be benefactor even introduced himself to his soon-to-be helper/partner.

I want to make this long effortpost about Vandal culture and life cycle but I can't think of a way to make that infodump work organically.

By the by, can I get a list of all the changes that you made to the world. I forgot to update the map as you did so.

Well, the white island in the bottom left hand corner is now a snow jungle full of white and red plants and weird animals. I'm not sure what sort of color denote arctic jungle.

The Five Isles are now bigger, and there are more of them. Tons of little swamp/mangrove islands have sprung up. And that area of beach between the northern tip of Spectropolis and that town to the left of it? That whole area is swamp now. Parts of the those two pieces of land under the old empire banner are swamp as well.

Finally the green areas around Spectropolis's northernmost river should be thicker because that river is super fertile now.

I imagine that Waverider's noticed that her domain has been affected as well by now.
