It's a done deal.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

She's not quite mischievous, but she is hardworking, though her appearance would suggest otherwise. And yes, she's looked like that her entire life and will continue looking like that, because that's what she looks like as a fully mature imp.

Anyway, I'm not going to add anything stat-wise for any of the posts I make until I get everyone to sit down and talk out the rules.
Or I get tired and just post something and wait for the fireworks.

I'm fine with the second option, I just want everything defined for the Second Age.

For some reason I found it really hard not to use Dracula as the picture for the Vampires.

It's understandable.
Drac's a cool dude.

Now that you guys have defined the races more, I'm having fun making some characters.

First, Wulf needs to finish the post with Dash dancing, which I've reminded him about earlier today. He did say that his computer was having problems though if I recall correctly so being patient in this case is (un)fortunately a must as we have circumstances beyond anyone's control as now both Wulf and GV are having computer problems.

Do we really have to bother with the Beta? Can't we make it non-cannon and just finish the rules so we can start the really fun stuff?
On a side note, is it at remotely possible that an assassin from the House of Jormun could be persuaded/blackmailed to go rogue? Probably not, but I'm asking anyways. On another side note. Can I just say that I feel honored that you still use my drawing as your icon both here and on the wiki.

Possibly, as they are descendants of Nayotake no Hime, though it may cause them to have the entire house to try to assassinate them in return for going rogue as the house does have its pride. Your drawings are nice and your moon
animation has its own link on the First Age page too BTW.

Yeah, I saw the link. It makes me feel great when others use or show my works. It inspires me to make more.

Sure, why not.
I ran out of steam half-way through it anyway. I'd still like the rules to actually be more or less set before we segue onto the Second Age.

Of course. The rules need to be set in stone before we start so we have a good base to build on. I'll be honest, I've been ignoring a lot of the rule posts recently. Not on purpose mind you, but because they always seem to come when I'm sleeping and its hard to follow them when I check posts in the morning after I wake up.
Despite that I'll try to do my best to assist in any possible way I can.

Good. Then as one of my friends, who denies they're my friend and everyone else calls weird, would say, "Let those creative juices flow and make more!"
And, let me just scream for a second.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I just got knocked off the computer by parental controls which my parents have forgetten to remove even though I'm now 18 and I just found the perfect picture for the Kat which I was about to add to their page! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

So we're just going to ditch it ?
I suppose we could just pause it and get back to it later if we want, or just keep it canon but have the rest of it play out during the Second Age along side the other stuff. Then again, I do not necessarily need another character so I guess we can just cut it off if we want.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Alright.
Opinions on (By ignoring this, all right to bitch later is waived): Skills should be used for conflict resolution, not directly add abilities. ( For example, Fighting With Swords.) By directly add abilities, I mean that you can't have an ability that is simply a statement of "They can do X" General rule of thumb: Include a action verb. NO: Breaths Fire, YES: Breathing Fire. Gods may add any of their stats that make sense for the action as they please. For example, if Fionna the Fire Goddess wants to torch a hill giant and she has a Controlling Fire (3) and decides to apply her raw power (3) to the attack, then her effective skill is 6. Gods may also substitute a stat for skills they don't have. If the Hill Giant survives the blast from Fionna and responds with a polite objection written on a boulder, she may substitute her power for her non-existent skill in Catching Projectiles. This makes the Gods quite potent- transforming them into powerful and mythic figures. Outside of conflict, the higher the skill, the more impressive the result. Of course, conflict need not be dross battle. A Hero and a God might conflict in a contest of skill. Or attempt to persuade people to their view over their foes. Heroes, Mythical Beings and possibly Gods would have to have their skill-point-totals modified. Heroes are definitely getting more. Continue a bit later.
