More Milteo sounds about right. As the wealthier Durhians spurn them more and more, they'll seek work elsewhere. And where better to seek work than the Hub of all Lands, Spectropolis. Naturally, The wealthy, upper class and merchant Durhians will try to avoid the Milteos and will prefer to live in Alabastra, traveling only to sell their wares and leave.
However, that only goes for the upperclass Durhians the simple tradesman, workers and craftsmen will seek work in Spectropolis as more and more of their shops are closed by the big wigs and as fighting and unrest breaks out between the natives Milteos and the Durhians back home. I don;t expect the fighting to transfer much too other lands though. The Rheans will definitely drift through often, though many won't stay for long, maybe a couple years at most. Their nature makes many of them restless and they'll move after awhile, but more will come.

Most of the Milteo could find work farming or digging for salt or water. Raw Material, what they're good at. Maybe have some fall in with Bedouin Shifters. After all, who knows when you might need to gather water quickly.
Phi, Camel/Vulture Hipposgiffs. Yea/Nay, is this a possible thing? Now, I just need Wulf, Zale, and Mik to weigh in so I can get demographics down.

I think for that to be possible, another Spirit would have to set in and add that variation to the mythos.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Well, hopefully a lot of significant plot points will pop up in the coming age...

Lycanthropes may be allowed into Boquabia, but I won't say for sure yet. I'll have to see about the logistics of what impact that would have on my races.

I think that Boquabia would be one of the two spots where fighting between the Lycanthropes would be least intense. The reason being that its a vacation spot and so many of them would stop to *ahem* smell the roses. The other spot would ironically be Suzaku where the fighting would die down as fast as it flared up because they'd kill each other off faster than they'd come in.

After reading the Twin-Flowers article, I wanted to make a counter-part fighting style.
Something that can be personified in the statement: "They'd bite and claw and scratch, but most of all, they'd win." Basically a style that was brutal and effective. Street fighting, not elegant martial arts. For sake of triple alliteration, I was thinking of Spectropolis Street Style.

Draemar would probably travel there and integrate themselves into the local hierarchy.
Dwarves would probably be more likely to end up on Alabastra, but skilled craftsman and artisans are always useful. Of course, I'm going to be diversifying them a bit. Adding a few more cultures to their mix in an attempt to make things more interesting. I'll keep you informed of which cultural groups I think would end up in Spectropolis, but you - and anyone else- are free to use any of the races or groups as you please.

Indeed. And the Fair Goddess wouldn't want to see them all fighting anyhow. It'd be bad for her rep if folks just broke out into fights everywhere. If they happened across Jissei, Khadai or any of the Seven-Sin Sisters, though...then, uh, no dice.

s
Cultural makeup of Spectropolis (which is the name I'm just going to call the island, so make sure you specify from now on if you mean the city). Bouquabia is all the way on the other side of the known world, after all.

True enough, the two lands are on the other side of the world, but the Watchman and Uburra-Namall have a rather decent alliance, last I checked. And 400 years will have passed; that would be plenty of time for a Boquabian colony, Elf colony and Centaur colony to arise there.
(BTW: Thinking of some new beauteous races to add to my repertoire. Satyrs, Nymphs, perhaps integrating the Veelas in from the Beta--whether or not other Beta beings come along, too--as well as Fairies, and perhaps splitting up some of the Elves into Light Elves and Dark Elves, with the basis of that split being the worship, respectively, of Jassi and Jissei)

Just don't forget that the Light-Scarred look like really pale elves and the Shadow-Scarred like really dark-skinned elves while you're at it.

Cool. Make a page for it on the wiki and customize it for the group. That's probably a good idea.

Likewise, don't you forget that I created the Elves first, and thus have staked claim on them, to design as I please. And besides, mine would have no innate power over light or darkness, only whatever they could muster from the magic their sects practice. And not only would light and dark magic would to more than just physical light and darkness, but only those seen as having the most potential would have the opportunity to learn those magic. And nobody would be able to learn those magics without converting to that religion.
And as far as any other things you would like to concern yourself with, as far as potential similarities, I'll be more than happy to draw more differences later on.

No, the Vikings created Elves first. All joking aside, I will say that the similarities are in appearance only. And the Shadow-Scarred were actually created before the Elves were. The Elves were created before the Light-Scarred were though.

Whew...For a second, I had to remind myself that not just any old white person said that, and thus your first thought of ghetto did not flash back to the same place that my own mind thought of.
*ahem* No. Not ghettos. Colonies. Whatever the general economic status of the land is in Spectropolis, would be the economic status of the colonies. And technically, if the deities have come together in harmony, then basically, they'd be welcome to freely roam about (even visiting neighboring lands) as they please, right?

I see your point, that much I can say, for sure. My only point is that the Light Elves and the Dark Elves would not be similar to your own Light-Scarred and Shadow-Scarred. Whatever distinction that needs to be made between them, will be made. Abilities, looks, whatever; I want these creatures. And if you'd be understanding in my creature design--that I'm not trying to do anything to imitate, outdo or compare to your creations--then I'd really appreciate it.
I mean, in all honesty, I actually forgot that your creatures resembled Elves; in my imagination, they were just dark and light-skinned humanoids (and I'm pretty sure I remember I saw you say that the Shadow-Scarred were harmed by the light)...

Yes, well, I understand that and appreciate that you're fine with working this out. As it is, yes they look like lighter/darker skinned elves respectively and the Shadow-Scarred get sunburns really easily, not as bad as Vampires, but worse than other races. Light-Scarred are the types to keep a nightlight on at night because it makes them feel more comfortable, they love light so much.
