Ok, once I finish with my nighttime routine. My parents are nagging me... I'm pretty much a hikikomori. Oh, and the "Dawn of the World" in the First Age is done.

Do start elaborating your thoughts though. And I would loooooove to see that map.

Well, the maps not done just yet. I'll be sure to post it when it is though.

As for Illusia, considering she is the Goddess of Temples I thought it might be interesting for her to become friends with Sonia, the Goddess of Architecture. Sort of interesting pairing as Sonia builds many temples and Illusia protects and guards them.

I think it could be pretty fun.

I like the idea! ... Now I just got the image of Thor in my head from that movie... As it is, it sounds good as it's a working relationship. One builds, the other guards and the temples should improve in appearance making both of them even more worshipped as time goes on.

Personally, I'm imagining a massive mosaic in a temple somewhere, built from millions of beautiful stones and gems. It depicts Sonia near the bottom, lifting the image of a temple upon her shoulders as if raising it from the very ground. Above the temple, an image of Illusia spreads her arms wide to embrace the rising temple. Millions of ribbons of light float and swirl about the two goddesses as they work together.

That's a really nice image and probably accurate too, since Illusia can create near perfect illusions.

Also, have you looked at the page for Spectropolis and for Illusia's Core Temple? Both of them are pretty good but probably need slight improvements.

 I think a few good alliances like that would be fun for the story. If you guys think of any others in particular, let me know. Especially if they involve deities from my pantheon.

(Oh, and BTW, my five Boquabian Heroes, Tyran, Bo, Zei, Mina and Revei will be Demi-Gods, and so will Draias and his allies, Linaea, Rox, Gosso and Fandas)

Right, Wulf. If you want, you can use this as a base for a mythical creature created by Jassi. I don't plan to make them, but they'd be good for her domain.

Mythos, ???

Magic Affinity: Angels are naturally adept at using light, healing and wind magics.

Fighting Affinity: Angels are naturally adept at combat.

Golden Halo: Angels always give off light from their body, always just below blinding and just bright enough to not seem normal.

Natural Understanding (Passive) (1): Angels can learn any type of mortal magic.

Speed of the Messengers (Active) (3): Angels can move a couple miles in mere milliseconds.

I think now is as good a time as any, to get started on mythos. And alliances are among the best first steps to work toward decent myths.

That's why I proposed the outer-space deities, for Waverider and the moon goddess to be allies, but since that won't happen, others will still be nice to have. Like Crav and Uburra-Namall (even if/when their romantic relationship ends).

Hm...I figured as much. The mythos shorthand is fine, but when more folks come on, we really should finish that talk. Should there be a distinction between non-sentient mythical creatures, sentient mythical creatures (mythical races) and mundane ones? I personally think so, and if the majority agrees, I'd be more than willing to help figure out the technicalities that go along with that decision.

Just a few suggestions for relationships. Not all of them are friendly. I'll try to think of more later. Remember, these are only suggestions...they only become cannon if both parties want them to.

Von Trapt is displeased by the Sin Sisters but oddly is not bothered by Khadai

Magnas seems to have caught Von Trapt’s eye as the Goddess of Metal and Lightning

Gravas and Waverider have started a sort of a strange friendship. Arguing and insulting one another constantly, but still bonded by their watery domains and remain “friends”
