I have 28ish Divine Artifacts, most of those designed around my Pantheon because that was how the old system worked, with each Spirit having to equip however many Divine Artifacts they were allowed to have in order to have their full set of skills. Under the new system, only 9 of those would serve the same function they do now. What I had planned for my new Spirit relied heavily on that old system as well, him equipping the Divine Artifacts he was allowed to have for him to be able to do what I had planned for him.

I think we are going to need a compromise since we already dug ourselves to deep to just throw what was created from the old system away. That is why I proposed creating new ranks for the Artifacts.

One rank would encompass most of the Divine and Non-Divine Artifacts we have now, allowing them to still exist and serve their functions but not being the measure for a Spirits true power. The other rank would be the Truly Divine or Tools of Office. These would be the icons of the Spirits and would go in with this new point system we are trying.

Gilgamesh for example would have his Tool of Office be the Golden Dragonscale Armor. The Rune of Planes was built into the Golden Dragonscale Armor, but it would be the lower rank of Artifact, only giving him something else to work with but not being the basis or icon of his power like the Golden Dragonscale Armor.

I think that Zale meant for Divine Skills to be that compromise, though I can't be sure.

Most Divine Artifacts aren't impressive enough to be Divine Artifacts.

I don't think it would be, and there would probably have to be a whole Religion dedicated to maintaining it.

which ones are, let's see a scale of 1 to ten...ten being my demonic sword of ultimate reality rending evil....one being the dagger that makes copies of itself, or the two artifacts that make food and drink.

I'm planning to make 2 of the Divine Artifacts of the law into Tools of Office, as for the others, I have yet to decide, but it's ultimately up to Zale.

That is why I said lets move the truly impressive ones up and use those and leave all the rest in the lower position.

Given that it's also the land of Youkai, I don't find the isolationism all that difficult to parse.

Every other land is the real world.

There is actually a whole religion dedicated to maintaining the law AND its Artifacts. The current leader is Mikoto, who's in Spectropolis right now, and it's called the Secret Religion. Check the wiki. I know it's on there.

It was something that could see anything, anywhere. No illusion or cloak could hide you from it's sight.

Powerful and very frightening.

Compared to some other items, which act little better than a typical magical item from most games.

Golden Dragonscale Armor, Muramasa, and the other specialty artifacts for my Pantheon should fit the rolls for the Tools of Office.

My only thing is that each of my gods has divine attributes, regardless of rank.

Uburra-Namall, Khadai, Jassi, Jissei and each of the Seven Sin Sisters.

Other than that, many of the rest of mine were intended as 'Rarae Objecti', that is, awesome objects of power meant for mortals, rather than gods.
