The dark, soul sucking sword of doom?

I need an honest review of how you guys have felt about my DMing over the roleplay.
In-depth, Brutally honest. I don't need to hear a short "You did great! :D" I want to hear exactly what you found good or bad. Self-Improvement is the key to life.

You're doing great!
But, yeah, no, srsly, you've been a decent DM. A just moderator over the game. Your style is very indicative of your inner self, but only the good part. You allow us free space, while reminding us of the rules when we need reminding. You wield power, without being power obsessive. And it seems that you put forth a true effort to do the RP justice through your narration, as far as plausibility and progression and plot planning goes. Oh. And since we're being brutally honest, well...you...your breath. It smells kinda bad. But really, great job, though!

You could probably pay to have your gods do more than they are. The only one that was really important to the plot of this age was Zaya, it feels like. The other two should be much more active in the next.
Speaking of Zaya, that falling star thing was complete Deus ex machina and you shouldn't have done it. I didn't want to say at the time since it had already happened. I was fine with my big man being out of commission for the rest of the arc. That tournament and the way it dragged was completely on us. It took the end of the world to move it along and you take no blame for that. Still, Phi did that because he was bored. Always watch for when a player gets bored, then dangle a shiny thing in front of them. Bored players are usually why games fly off the rails. Remember Rule zero: What the GM says, goes. You have final say over whether something can or cannot work. Always good to reiterate that.

I know, but I have so many of them and I have to do things for so many other things. These are excuses, but it's true.
Had I had not to run two, three things at once I would be able to explore the depths of all three of the Gods I had available to me. One of the biggest problems was only Zaya really interested me. Waverider was rather elemental, but got knocked out of the game for awhile. Hazet.. he just faded into the background because I got bored of him. In hindsight, that was Dues Ex Machina.. Why did I do that at the time? The Tournament... People were excited about it at first (I think) but I didn't want to end it when it began to drag. I should have. It's hard to find plots for Gods.

Well said, despite the fact I didn't think of those same criticisms.

Maybe it's hard for one guy to plot, but as a team, it should be significantly less so, right?

Was there anything you liked about my DMing?
It's good to note the things I am good at, so I can arrange to have them come up more often.

If you know the plot, there's less surprises.

'Tis true.
Better to save surprises and impromptu story layout for vital plot twists.

Pantheo's name is Pantheo not Pantheos or Pantheon
I'm not sure whose the first one is, but all the rest are mine. Artifact level, not Divine Artifacts. Storm Matrix is Lo-Kag's metal club, crafted like all the other hero's artifacts by Crav's craftsmen. Focus for his nature abilities, specifically lightning. Staff of Cosmos is Naram the Shardmind's focus, magic amplifier. Cloak of Stars belongs to Magnus, the non-hero human mage. It increases defense the weaker the wearer. Spectral Slayer is Tirion's focus. It splits apart the components of his magic, in his case his light. Hercules bands belong to Atlas and increase his strength.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

It's actually pretty fun, and relatively easy to plot for gods. It's people I can't seem to freaking figure out. I wonder what that says about me...

Too busy doing French hmwk to think...
All jokes aside, you were great. I liked how you kept us on course using NPC's and prevented us from going too off tangent as well as not becoming too OP. If I were to have anyone GM my friends, I'd choose you... Wait, no, on second thought, I wouldn't want to wish that on anyone I like.

The Charters you fleshed out were actually interesting, and you seemed to know when to stand back so we could do our own thing. Your very reasonable with what we can justify to you. Most of the conflict in Greek Myth either involved or was between mortals, whom Zale doesn't have control over completely.

You've done a pretty good job being the leader Zale. You've gotten distracted from participating at times, but I believe you've always been around to try and help settle rule issues.
The tournament thing is my fault, it got more out of hand than I was expecting. I had a lot of things that I wanted to happen over the course of it, but the format of it simply bogged things down to much. We've had a lot of trouble with rules, and I guess the balancing I tried to do between the level of Spirits and Artifacts did not solve the issues as much as I hoped.

I like having interesting characters.
The problem with plots is that many of them are easy for Gods to just throw power at until they go away. This may be remedied with the coming age, rule changes and possible in-character groups..

Ah right, he misspelled it. It should be "Shadow's Armory" not "Armor."
The Shadow's Armory is in the Plane of Shadows which no being can enter and can generate shadow weapons for the Shadow-Scarred to use.

The Greeks seemed to work with that premise on a daily basis.
The gods felt loss, felt hurt, felt joy, felt pain, got injured, got insulted, retaliated, felt remorse, got into arguments. Their problems were just as real as any mortal's.
