Jack Stating, Interesting Power. This could be an (Active) power, in which case she could use it one per post as many times as she wished. :D So no need to use "Stamina". Just reapply it as many times as she desires. Her Tool confuses me slightly. It can deflect how many attacks? How often? How much? I'd honestly probably phrase her tool as allowing her to boost her Power temporarily.

Take a glance at what GV did with the Watchman:
That could work nicely for Prasim too. Not to mention that most stats can be derived from the actual stats if they matter. Power is a dead ringer for raw magic or physical strength. Precision or Perception could fit into intellect or wisdom, while Presence is basically divine charisma. For the Tool, more or less the same thing as Via. The hoard thing is a nice quirk. I like it.

Her power seems a bit lack-luster. Being able to eat a lot and not get hungry, or make other people hungry.. Same with the Jaws. I mean, compare her to this.

Opinions? I'm unsure of my stat placement. I used Precision to describe his ability to perfectly bind things with his contracts and Perception to keep an eye on his deals, but I'm not sure if Presence might make better sense for him in some way. Presence still doesn't make that much sense to me. It seems like any Spirit should be able to show that they are a Spirit relatively easy just by displaying their skills. Presence seems like a constant area of effect ability. I'm also unsure if his Tool of Office is incredibly overpowered or underpowered. It gives him absolute authority on things bound by his signature, but outside of that he doesn't have anything.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Look at it this way.
You wouldn't believe someone was a god just because they shoot fireballs. Especially in a world where that's at least something that happens infrequently. Presence is simply how much of a god's divine energy spills over. A high presence fire goddess would be.. a vision of living flame- a being of majesty and power. All around her, flames would burn with a brightness and purity that was unearthly. All who saw her would not see some mere fire elemental- but a being of grace and otherworldly power- something sacred. That level of emotional connection is worth far more than a half-hearted conviction brought on by juggling mountains.

You'll note that none of the new gods I created were Pantheon Leaders.
None shall be either. As far as I'm concerned, the world no longer contains the power or youthful energy to create or attract additional ones. That doesn't have to affect any of your decisions, especially since you wouldn't have one if you failed to make one now.

Hmm, alright, that example made more sense to me for some reason. Could you give an example of how you would think Midas would be if he was max presence?
The thing I was caught up on was the fact that most Spirits are visually distinct from mortals to begin with, and usually famous in their own lands. What I'm thinking now is, that the difference between Power and Presence would be that Gilgamesh could obviously show he was Gilgamesh by displaying his power, but anyone skilled in illusion could create a fake Gilgamesh, but not be able to back up that fake Gilgamesh with his power.

So, since I don't have Gilgamesh, I should pick one of the new Spirits I'm bringing in to be the "Pantheon Leader" for myself and that each of us should only have one "Pantheon Leader"?

He could completely alter the economic center of a nation by staying in a city for a few days.
He could make lawyers feel bad about not honoring the spirit of their deals. He could step over a river and people would find flecks of gold in it for weeks afterwards.

I think I'll pick the one I'm bringing in last then, so I'll be without a Pantheon Leader or my original Pantheon for a portion of the Second Age.
@Vault: I think you mentioned wanted to switch over to a more active style of Spirit, it may benefit you to switch the title of "Pantheon Leader" from the Watchman over to this new Spirit. I wouldn't mind allowing you to do this, without changing the Watchman much within the story, if you like this idea.

What sort of stat split would you suggest then based on his abilities, since he will be a Minor/Major Spirit now (The one below Pantheon Leader (We should probably rename the ranks to something more appropriate now)).
Precision for binding contracts, Perception for controlling deals across the world, or Presence for wealth/economy control?

Look at it this way: A Power five god could lift a castle and throw it at the moon.
A Perception five god could count the flecks in the stones of that castle in route to the moon. A Precision five god could reconstruct the entire castle, along with all furniture without causing anything to fall out. A Presence five god could convince the king that throwing the castle was a grand thing worthy of celebration.

I probably need points in everything but Power for him then, but which would be most important, hmm.

Lo
Lesser Goddess of Volcanoes Power: 1 Precision: 3 Perception: 3 Presence: 0 Scorcher (Passive) (2): Lo is nearly immune to heat and fire by virtue of being hotter than anything this side of lava. Lo may suppress this ability at will. My Little Friends (Active) (2): Lo may summon a number of divine servitors equal to her Precision. She may summon less, if she so desires, but the total number summoned and controlled with this manner cannot exceed twice her Precision. She may summon any type of divine servitor she has seen with this power. Tool of Office Her tool is her Magic Coat. While it can appear in any form she desires, it usually stays in the form of a long trench coat- for her amusement. With it Lo can retroactively remove all evidence of having been in a location. If already present in said location, she may expend two motes to remove herself as well- placing her wherever she would have been had she elected to not go.

Fine
Alright, So how would a Spirit with a Zero in a certain state act? Would they still be above mortals in that aspect?

Midas

I always interpreted them as being no more than a mortal in that aspect.
But keep in mind the variance in mortal ability. A Power 0 God could still be incredibly strong- but not inhumanly(Or whatever race they are) so.

I suppose that is where we will get the Spirit-Slaying you wanted. Spirits with Power Zero will have to be careful.
