Ok.  Just to clarify, the big tree was heaved to block the exit to the next area and the Bark Behir blocked the entrance to the water room?

The tree was thrown to block the previous area (The Waterfall Room) and nothing is blocking the way forward.

Smack I'm gonna need you to narrate a single action at a time so I can tell you what happens. If you want to go cut the beast open do that. If you say at the same time that you go look for bark and something else, I don't know which action you're doing at that precise moment.

Done.  Let me know if my updated post passes muster and I'll cover the dissection next

Marv - In the interest of expediency, I've already moved toward the dissection.  I can be as detailed or as general as you need me to be, but in a nutshell, I intend to check the monster's stomach for contents, preserve as many major organs as possible, and coat all my weapons with its blood.

Then move to the next area.

Wulf - I just read your last post on the main Loot thread.  What would be your character's ideal weapon set?  Or does Xlprq tend more toward the arcane arts?  Is there a distinguishable vibe he gives off that others might pick up on?

Sorry for being so obtuse, I'm just trying to get a feel for this group, and being the newcomer, I think I need more direct input in order to contribute to the team.

I see no problem. Your asking is totally understandable. My guess, Xlprq would probably be better off with magic--something that he can do without necessarily getting too close up on the baddies. Not that such is a requirement to have an interest in magic, but while he does want to be of assistance to the others, he's still something of a wimp.

In response to my last post on the main thread, would any of the metal scraps in the creature's stomach be sharpened, or otherwise useful as a weapon or tool?  I know that Praosk could find a use for brass knuckles or something similar (cestus) that could be attached to a willing recipient's hands.

Marv - unless someone disagrees, I think we're ready for the next area.

I only had one remaining question posted earlier regarding the metal shards found in the monster's innards, but we can go thru that as we're moving forward..

Re: Loot: The Eternity Dungeon (Planning Thread)

Lot's of stuff to do. After the healer I'm gonna head to the apothecary, see if they can do anything with the slime hats or that flower in Star's helmet. They must be able to use flowers and monster parts for something. Then check the pawn and junk shops for a proper pack and some pens or something. Then the inn for some quest hunting and light bragging.

No need to hit the Blacksmith. Luck is a perfectly fine weapon, and Star doesn't need his armor done up because he is, of course, invincible.

We'll need money. Phi, you're in charge of the money. How much money do we have?

28 Gold by my calculations plus some misc items we could sell.

I think willow would like a hilt added to that spine of his, or if that is a terrible idea, he might trade it for a dagger or something with piercing power for when he can't use his main weapon.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
