The Morlocks were only discovered by their mention within the rules. None are allowed to speak to them, speak about them, touch them or offer them any show of kindness. They are known, aside from their greed, for being greatly hostile. Many believe this is due to envy of 'The Beauteous Races'.

Though, the term 'Beauteous Race' is only used by non-Morlocks, in comparison to the Morlocks themselves. Otherwise, people are simply referred to by their race and/or rank.

Centaurs have the lower halves of a reptilian nature.

( Reptilian nature? Dang it... *sigh*)

Humans are said to have descended from a race of much more powerful beings, gifted with various supernatural powers, including vastly stronger magic than is currently known. Their ancestral race are known as Superhumans. Though, it is unknown what became of them, if they ever existed at all.

It is unknown who found the original scrolls containing the rules, or where. Every race except the Morlocks claim authorship by people of their ancestry. Though, since their discovery, they have been transcribed into books, and many families keep a family copy to which they may refer.

Centaurs, Dwarves, and Goblins used to all be the same species a little over a century in the past.

The rules do not present a single deity or single pantheon to worship. They present a host of deities; their likes, dislikes, rituals for pleasing them, sacred objects, holy sites and more.

Though, strangely enough, some gods are also listed as 'Forbidden' or 'Not Fit For Worship'. Worship of these is punishable by excommunication from any and all of the public gods' holy places, and labeling as a Morlock.

The Red Moon and the Blue Moon are rarely visible in the sky at the same time. When they are, aside from the Werewolves' and Vampires' monstrous transformations, all magic is negated, except for that of Fexts', who receive an especial boost of physical and magical power during this time.

Fexts currently have a cunning plan to eradicate all elves from the world. A plan that has a predicted 78% success rate of completion over the next 96 years.

For their capability to reproduce with Vampires (to create Dhampirs), Werewolves (to create Half-Were), Elves (to create Half-Elves), Fexts and Dwarves, Humans are often disparaged by enemies as Breeders.

It is unknown as to why, but the offspring of a Human and a Fext will only ever result in Human and/or Fext offspring. Likewise, the offspring of a Human and a Dwarf will only ever be either Human or a Dwarf, with no traits in between.

Fexts and Elves have in common that they have no control over the reproduction of their races. Fexts occur spontaneously, a result of corpses suddenly becoming lively, just as Elves occur as a result of magical phenomenon. The rate of newly occurring members of both races is roughly equal.

Few races have seen the rules, and gone on to ignore the protocol described within. These include the Fairies, the Giants, the Djinni, and the Zombies. Aside from the Zombies, who no longer comprehend civilized customs after their transition into undeath, it is unknown why any of the former races flout the protocol laid out within the rules.

Not only do they reject the rules, but they also reject anyone who accepts those rules.

Many believe that the waters are infinite, transcending the present dimension in a continual flow, a single coalescing body, through which its denizens, including the Merfolk, the Merrow and the Tritons, may all freely travel at will.

Some also believe that there is a world that lies on the other side of every mirror, a world exactly like the present one. The only difference between that world and this, many say, is that the inhabitants of the other world are forced to move, as the inhabitants of this world move. Some even say the inhabitants of that other world are the ancestors of the Humans, the Superhumans, banished to exalt the beauty of others, as punishment for their own vanity.

Morlocks get about in a manner similar to apes, and have no discernible language. As far as is known, they only communicate in a series of frenzied shrieks, squeals, barks, yips, yelps, moans, growls, groans, grunts, snorts, clicks and hand gestures. In failing to communicate their message, they are likely to simply attack and take whatever it is they want. Due to their daily occupation of stealing, fighting and roaming the dank depths of the world, they are known to smell of waste and sewage, among other unpleasant things.

While other races despise the Morlocks, for some reason, Goblins greatly fear them.

Among the various curses, rituals and other assorted pains listed to punish vampires, there is an item which is greatly feared above most others. In the use of this item, a silver stake-tipped crucifix, the vampire must avoid the light of the world's lamps, or risk being discovered as cursed, by the sparkly prismatic glow the skin will give off.  The vampire will also only be able to digest vegetables and lower animals, like rats and rabbits. Though, worst of all, anyone they love will slowly lose the ability to feel any emotion (even the ability to smile) before meeting a gruesome and untimely demise.
