Jester what kind of crazy story can you think of that would happen if I asked Fran to remove my need to sleep.

If you removed the need to sleep you would suddenly find yourself with an extra eight hours of work to do in the day as well as a sudden lack of drowsiness period. To begin with you would be more active healthier, and most likely go throughout several projects and trips to get rid of boredom. but then your mind would eventually decau into lunacy due to become overstressed due to lack of rest. eventually you would start to halucinate until you find yourself winning championships and finding cures for disease while in reality your in a state of constant lunacy and delirium or developed into a vegetative state due to blown Neurons.

you doubt everything. in all honesty though there's practically no way to completely disable the need for sleep unless you segment the brain so that at least one area is resting at all times.

I don't doubt everything, just things that are improbable. If somone never had the need to sleep, the most they would be is bored.

The brain would eventually begin to wear itself down. It's like leaving a computer, or a videogame on twenty four seven without an effective cooling system.

Sure, that's why we sleep. But if somone had no need for sleep. That wouldn't be a problem.

The human body is meant to work a certain way. If youdon't sleep, that will happen, there's pretty much no way to prevent that, even if you do find a way to stop the need for sleep.

To eliminate the need for sleep you would have to eliminate the reason for sleep. We sleep to rest our minds and bodies. If somone did not have to sleep, they would also never have to recharge their mind and body.
