Because a long time ago, life was created and eventually the human race evolved from that first life.

How? Well that's the big question now isn't it. Many think that it was random chance that several amnio acids combined to produce life. As for why.....there was no reason.

why do the amino acids work in the first place, if all they are is loosely defined particles made of energy which in itself is an abstract concept to begin with. And I don't mean the entire mess with the valence shells and whatnot either, I know basic physics and molecular science.

Oh dear.

I could see how this could end badly..
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

It just works....there is no reason for. Not everything has a reason, somethings just are.

If all things do not have a reason why they work, then how can they possibly exist. All things must have some scientific explanation as to why they interact and exist otherwise they become the incorporeal along with all things that they make, give me a concrete explanation.

Re: messed up contest.

jester_of_god
but if one thing does not have a reason then all else is forfeit because they al interconnect into a giant formulae. Things feel hot because they transfer energy and cause the molecules to vibrate, things are solid because the electrons orbiting the atom move at a fast enough speed to create a constant force of magnetic repulsion across it's surface, cells are able to function as a machine because they are programmed to carry out funcitons through DNA. All things have a reason, all things have a function, and if one does not have a function, or a reason, or an explainable way that it functions, then all things that it makes become forfeit and therefor cease to exist.

(Insert my obvious answer here)
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

To answer the eternal question of why the quasar crossed the planetary nebula?

In that case the answer is to get to the other side.....OH WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't you ever play the "Why game" as a kid. Where you ask the question why, someone explains it, you ask why again, and they explain further.....after asing why so many time, it becomes impossible to explain why. That's because some things at their very core, have no reason.

You can explain why something interacts the way it does, you can explain why it is a certain color, but eventually if you go deep enough, you will find something that has no reason for being the way it is.

Yes, you can, otherwise they do not work. It would be like throwing balogna, a turkey, twelve beetles, and a wrench into a box, and have it turn into a working microwave.

No talking about the fundamental workings of the real world, it leads to fights. Only fictional science allowed.

Some things just work is a foolish statement that borders on psuedo religion but Philote is right, back to nonsense.

If galacticus can eat planets by eating the life force of said planet, why not just eat the sun, it can't be because it's too hot, because of the earths molten core in the first place, and to bein with he doesn't seem to eat the matter itself to begin with. Does he devour the planet''s soul in that case, or some other mystic energy force?
