 Had another idea.

It's something to do with the Illuminati.

Typically, I'm not the one to advocate the shenanigans of the Illuminati and the New World Order and all that, but...this idea just creeps me out so much. I really think it'll disturb all of you. In a good way.

Okay, here's some ideas that I came up with the other day. The following format for a story idea is not required, just my personal preference.

To the Bone (working title)
-Unwary travelers stop to rest from long travel (after car breaks down)
-Stumble upon a graveyard for necromantic, necrophiliac cultists called the Bone Keepers (or Bone Collectors, name is subject to change)
-Find Tomb of Grand Bone Keepers (cult leaders)
-The Bone Keepers' Rede (a necromantic curse) is unleashed

Razor's Edge (working title)
-Series of brutal murders involving blades (of varying types and sizes)
-No fingerprints or other traces of a suspect (hair, etc)
-Only known suspects: Town butcher, barber, beautician and a group of emo/goth kids

Recluse Ridge
-Post-apocalyptic: nuclear war breaks out, leaving only a few fallout shelters full of people to survive; one of which serves as a prison
-Little by little rooms begin turning up locked, or plain-out not existing; people begin disappearing
-Prisoners plan escape

The Illusionist's Game
-Group of friends on a road trip stumble upon a humble town and decide to stay for a short time
-Warned not to go out at night
-Go out at night; everyone in town is gone

Anyone have any feelings about this?

 Well, it's basically an Illuminati member being initiated into some famous industry (probably politics, or music or something) and then finding out that the behind-the-scenes stuff is not nearly as pretty or glamorous as they seem, from the outside looking in.

 Well, it is a pretty occult idea here. Quite literally.

Satanists and other cultists. And that's before said protagonist is disillusioned and attempts to leave the ranks of said Satanic cult.
