I'M asleep? Obviously you don't know me very well.

Oh right.
And your Frankenstein computer would eat them anyway. Probably the closest thing to human flesh outside of Hufu.

Indubitably.

Aww. I was hoping you would ask what Hufu was.

No, thanks. I know what it is, now.

Wondering.
Anybody up for a quick story? I wanna complete one by October 31st, for a sort of Halloween Special. I'm also planning to do some for Greetings, Evolutionist's Stone and New Beginning (even maybe Lords of Creation), if the involved folks are willing to participate.

I guess.
I'll be able to post on the stories.. now I guess. The next time I'd have free would be tomorrow morning. Yikes. Busy schedule is busy.

Well, it's not necessary.
Just something I sort of wanted to try to do. If it's too much of a strain, then by all means, it can wait. Hopefully, we'll still be here next year.

Define 'this weekend'. Today's Friday, so, what, you mean tomorrow, Saturday?

I don't think we should start this, we can barely keep people posting in the existing ones.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I didn't mean now. I meant whenever we finished Elemental Planes and/or New Beginning.
And I think the Horror RP would be much easier to run. The stories are much shorter, requiring much less dedication to a single story. Maybe five or ten pages per story, nothing expected to extend to a full thread. And with our own perspectives, we can get way more stories out of the way, of more types, that will appeal to more folks. Hopefully, interest will be kept up this way.

I do not really see how they will be "Horrific" though
Besides, I think you should start focusing on keeping up with the other RPs and posting as quickly as you can in them before you start an RP.

Well, that's why we have this comments thread. We can come up with some ideas here, and the details, I can correspond with folks on, on Facebook, so as not to give away crucial details to participants. Keep stuff fresh and interesting.
In general, we can talk about what kinds of things scare us, or entertain us. On Facebook, we can collaborate on how to pull those elements together, plot twists, etc. And I'm trying, little by little, to keep up. I just wish there was more participation by other folks, too. Speaking of which, I know we're nearly done with EPRP, but how many more posts are left in KCoM?

I just don't think a horror one is for me. If you get it started though I'll make posts to help out.
You just need to make sure you start reading everything so you know what is going on. You often just skim things and then make a post that doesn't follow along with how the story is going. I think Marv is aiming to make it shorter, but I still think we have a lot left of KCoM if the number of creatures recently released is any indication.

I know I've been skimming lately...I'll try to work on that.
And it's fine. If you can't participate, then it's no problem.

Marv says he has a horror story idea, and I'm dying to hear about it (no pun intended). Anybody else interested in hearing his idea?

Ah, but that's the thing about good horror story ideas......the really good ones aren't revealed until the end. How can I tell you without giving it all away?

Well, there's no need to go into too-deep of a detail. A general idea would suffice. Do we at least get to know if it's a man or a monster we face?
