Pretty much its just a shield and plate armor, but made by my clan, so it just has aesthetics (I think that is the right word) that give it a cauldron like look.

Fortitude potion is actually a liquid I can apply to objects increasing their durability, and thus increasing the defensiveness of my Class.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Shield is my primary weapon, I'm going to be like Captain America but with much less shield throwing.

I'm going for either a Broad Sword or an Enchanted Sword as my weapon of choice. Not sure which though.

Hehe, always. (Though they aren't in any order as to power or effectiveness)

Shadow Automatism, of course. A living shadow that can interact with shadows, giving the impression of Telekinesis.

Umbrageous Superstrength. Duh, gaining enhanced strength in darkness. One would assume this is used in conjunction with a Summon Darkness spell and/or some night-vision-enhancing capability.

Tartarean Dark. A deathly cold shadow-like mist that obscures the sight of enemies, while allowing all allies to see in it perfectly.

Fear-based powers. Maybe plain Psychic Intimidation (and/or Fear Amplification), Fear Sensing, or Phobic Vampirism (gaining power off of naturally-occurring fear; does not work if you induce the fear yourself). Fear Illusion perhaps.

And then of course the demon summoning types, which I plan not to go into detail about.

And for sleeping foes. Nightmare Touch. You touch the sleeping foe, and they are trapped in a nightmarish sleep state from which they cannot awake until you run out of constitution and wisdom enough to fuel it.

I could go on.

Sorry bout that. Here's a band-aid for your bruised ego. Tell Gen kiss it make it better.

Honestly, it just comes to me. You think of the abilities you want to HAVE first, and THEN think of what class that falls under. Like you. Elemental much?

Then take up elemental magic.

I think Elementalist is already a class. Or, um, something like that.

I will expand on the Warlock example I used with Bob.

Also, While we will have 20 abilities per class, these don't have to be evenly spread out. You may have more than one ability per level.

------------------

Warlock

Warlocks are practitioners of magic. Like the scholarly wizard, a Warlocks powers are not something gained from mere luck of birth. However, where a wizard seeks to understand magic to control it, a Warlock takes a faster route. A Warlock uses magic to seek out powers far distant from mortal realms. These sometimes dark and dangerous powers grant the Warlock potent abilities.. at a heavy cost.

Class Abilities
The abilities of a warlock all have requirements for usage. This is to offset the fact that they may use them as many times as they wish in a day. Breaking one of the requirements prevents you from using that particular ability until you are able to meet the requirements again.

=Level One=

Dark Power
You may send a burst of painful raw magic through the body of someone you touch.

In order to use this magic, you must forgo the use of magic during any night with a new moon.

=Level Two=

Domination of Will
Your mind crashes against the mind of a target. If your wisdom is greater than the targets, you gain influence over them for a number of minutes equal to your warlock level. While they are under your influence, you seem like a trusted friend to them and they will often be happy to give in to small requests.

In order to use this magic, you must spend an hour each day communing in meditation with the far powers that give you your gifts.

=Level Three=

Power of the Mind
You may substitute your wisdom score for any of your physical scores (Str, Dex, Con). You must decide which stat it will substitute for at the beginning of each day.

In order to use this magic, you must never again touch any object made of iron. If you do, you must wait a week before this ability returns.

=Level Four=

Call of the Disciple
You may summon a being from the far place you obtain your powers. This may be a demonic or alien-aberrant creature at your desire. You may not summon anything more than one-quarter of your warlock level in power.

In order to use this magic, you must supply fresh meat for the summoned creature. More potent creatures require larger amounts of meat. In addition, you must give the creature five drops of your own blood.

=Level Five=

“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

That's what I have right now.

Work in progress hampered by sleepy-deadness.

It will probably end up being a villain-based class at the rate it is going though.

Yeah, lookin' kinda villainous.

So. Since Phasma's accepted, I'ma sit here and think of some NPC's. Likely none of them will be used, but still. It's fun.

More Classes would be nice.

Just make sure to mix up the resources thing.

Thanks for the help, Shadowulf.

Do I seem sort of rambley?

No, not rambley so much as tired.

And yeah, you're welcome. Any time.

I may think of another tonight, or some others tomorrow.

I prefer psychics, though I have mages as well. And I always take them from my books (or ADD them to the books if I think of them here).

I have these options immediately in my mind.

Cloaca Vile
Class: Creepstress (Vile Sorceress)
-Magic of the icky kind.

Xander Alistair
Class: Warlock
-Magic in general, though leaning a bit dark

Rory Walker
Class: Bounty Hunter
-Not so much magic itself, though he has a sword, which is physical, magical AND psionic in nature...

Lydia Flowerchild
Class: Bard
-Magical music. Nuff said.
