What effect did the power have on the man?
Was he held there (e.g. Telekinesis) or controlled to stay there (e,g, Telepathy).
What was the owner of the superpowers' motive?

Was it Telekinesis or Telepathy? I doubt it will be either.

What effect did the power have on the man? If I told you, what would be the point of this riddle?
Was he held there (e.g. Telekinesis) or controlled to stay there (e,g, Telepathy). Neither.
What was the owner of the superpowers' motive? I can't answer that without giving away part of the solution.

When you say physical, which sense does it most interact with?

Is he actually at the train station?

Why doesn't he get on the train?

Did he ever intend to in the first place, or is he there for another reason, such as picking somebody up?

Is he actually at the train station? Yes.
Why doesn't he get on the train? The guy being affected? Because he was busy doing something.
Did he ever intend to in the first place, or is he there for another reason, such as picking somebody up? He intended to board the train.
