Hey, Mr. Cabbie. I had another brainwave for the neutral side. In Shin Megami Tensei, ancient demon summoning rituals that take a lot of time and effort and condensed down into computer programs that can be run on a laptop, or even a cell phone. The guy in the very first game that gives you this tech is Stephen Hawking, it's amazing.

So yeah, computers that summon up and bind creatures from the great beyond to fight for you. Whacha think?

Hmm maybe then. Though the neutrals have elemental robots already. So I might transform the idea to something AI related. Considering one of the leaders Chesire is an AI.

So far all I've been doing is revising Magitek characters to make is seem more fluid to their side they've chosen also considering renaming the neutral side Naming things are the one thing I'm not good at.

Hmm what else would need to be discussed then? I'm still wondering if I should just Solo GM this or not cause so far not much else has been presenting itself to me on what we have to discuss or need to expand on. Though I think there may need to be more said.

Well for that matter is probably one of our biggest problems. To be honest I haven't thought much about ti besides different threads but that makes it a bit too much of a hassle all together. Cause of how unorganized I have this I feel that I might have made a problem that is not needed and for a VS kind of rp. Or I'm over thinking it I know we can do this in one thread, but with different teams that means we might have to limit the characters for each team. I have thought that the neutral side might actually be unnecessary so if you all agree that it is then I will remove it and reorganize the characters. However that would mean only two or one GM would be needed and I would take the Tech side only if Marv would be willing to give it up. Though I believe a rewards should be in order actually should characters succeed in a mission or defeating an enemy player. So I would have to go to the drawing board for it until I can confirm what is the best course to take.

Then we could have arcs based on faction.

Yes I did and found it rather interesting and might get the game later this month or was it on feb. Either way it was what I generally thought of for the tech level in the world.

The way I would do it, If I was the one running, was have one arc for each faction with a bunch of clues peppered in hinting at some larger problem. Then I'd have the last arc be a combined arc, and up the stakes accordingly for the large number of characters.

Like Suikoden 3. Or Sonic Adventure 2.

The way to handle that is to keep the threads from meeting until the climax.

Science guys have to hit the magic city? Contrive some reason for the magic guys to have been out of the city at the time. It's not even that hard most of the time, the world is huge.

You've all seen that vid of one taking a tank shell and just laughing it off, huh? Seems pretty impenetrable, don't it? Well, what you're not seeing is all the crap that shield is letting through. The typical combat shield, the one the sparklers are taught in their academies, only blocks kinetic force and energy rounds. But that's all it blocks. Light, sound, air, they let all that stuff right on through. Don't even bother to check the bags! Now, some units like mine use these sound generators to get through that shield, some are packing this light refraction weaponry. But the Suns of Torquemada are an old fashioned bunch, and if fire was good enough for the Inquisition, it's good enough for us."

Okay I think I figured how this rp is gonna run. Thanks for all the help. The time frame will be set up before the neutral side exists. That way you can have the choice of  which one of your characters will join the Neutral side. As for the chapters I will put the first one to a vote. Do you guys want to start on the Tech or magic side first. Note this also means how the GM cooperation will work. Depending on which you choose Either Marv or Dryad will control one of the two. Opposing enemies and obstacles. Then the side the forces on your side that assist you. I will control specific characters on both sides that end up on the neutral side.


Still open to other ideas on how to do this. But I don't have the knowledge of who the leaders of each side are yet. It would be a cooperation Among the GM's or if Marv wants to take part in the story as a character  I can still take up the tech side's GM needs. Again all up to you guys.
