Hm.
Right.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Uh... well I'm just gonna have it go in chapters. But I was gonna ask where the group wanted to start. The tech side or the magic side.
Also I'm considering setting the time the rp starts before the neutral faction exists so yeah. I'm also trying to figure out how its gonna work between you me and Dryad for Gming. I know I have a couple of characters that will become the leaders of neutral side so I will participate in the rping. I also think this will allow us to direct the rp a bit besides controlling the obstacles that GM's naturally do. Also I'm trying to figure out if you and Dryad want to Co Gm during each chapter. Like one of you directs the forces helping the players. And the other Directs the opposing forces.

Does neutral side get magical computers?
Weapon: "Magic Enhanced Computer"--capable of hacking both the tech side and the neutral side--and maybe the magic side(assuming they have stuff like magical constructs or things that can be bound to one's own power or relies on outside forces--ie can control enemy golems, can open magically sealed doors remotely, can hack crystal balls and magic mirrors--in addition the computer itself is a "glass ball" and can be used as remote viewing, and clairvoyance(maybe)) Also yes crystal balls and magic mirrors as the answer for magic side to science side computers and cell phones--which comes with remote viewing, limited clairvoyance, postcognition, and long range communication. |
Well I guess, you can use that. However the resouces to create one is still to even maintain.

NPC--Spellbreaking, Repair, and Locksmith
Name: Leo Cisco Age: 32 City: The City of Fifty-Two Hair Color/Style: Black Eye Color: Brown Skin Color: White Clothing: Apron with oil stains on it and smells like garlic, collared shirt short sleeved, brown shorts Anything Else Unique About Appearance: wears a bifocal monocle---has HUD and a magic lens, and has a wrench with runes on it, sometimes where's knight outfit when doing serious spellbreaking or handling dangerous objects like a bomb Weapon: N/A--unless you consider his wrench a weapon Magic Style: SpellBreaker--Skilled in dispelling enchantments and curses from objects---mainly him hitting things with the wrench and zapping it with spell energy and sometimes using his hands in a typing motion and muttering. Personality: Values money--his services are not cheap. Family man with a daughter. Has common sense and is a shrewd businessman Alternate Skills: Hacking skill--Can break codes, some mechanical engineering, minor telekinesis(magic derived)--can lift up items near him without touching them, minor inventing--mostly ways to unlock things Backstory: A reporter eh.... sure I've got time. In this shop I can unlock anything you find tech or magic... for a fee of course. Those magicians love to give their weapons their own personal touch and some even have owner seals. Same with the tech side--fancy thumbprint identification on all their guns I also do some locksmith work on the side. You know for the people who forget their magical password or left their keycards inside their apartment. Once the city hired me to disarm a low level nuclear bomb with anti-interference magic on the wires---wonder who was the genius who came up with that. How did I get my skills? I learned from my parents of course. I'm a proud second generation here in the City of Fifty two. My father was laid off because there were too many technicians after the Tech side united. My mother was fired from the archaeological site because she charged way too much for her services. They both drifted into this place. My father fell for mom at first sight. At first she couldn't stand the sight of him, because he was poor. They ran shops next to each other. My father ran a tech repair shop, while Mom ran the local magic shop. Eventually they got together. Funny story about that, can you believe how some people confuse magic and science. At least now its better, but back then we had customers going into the wrong shop repeatedly. It didn't help that there was now some hybrid technology as well. Eventually both of them were fed up and married. Mom because it made economic sense and Dad because he had a crush on her since day 1. Now, I merged the two shops together and bought out the place from the previous landlord. Business is a lot smoother now that everyone goes to the same store. "Daddy!!!!" *Girl comes running in. *Leo picks up the girl with both arms and gives a hug. So that's my story. To girl: "So how was school today....... |

I'll be honest, The neutral side seem to have all the benefits of Magic and Technology but none of the faults.

Do the mages in magic side understand physics enough to use in combat or are they the type that thinks all science is evil?
Examples of using physics: Use lighting magic to generate electromagnetic fields to manipulate metal and generate electromagnetic pulses-- Magnomages Using fire then ice magic then repeating to destroy an object. Creating dust explosions by manipulating/apporting/transmuting coal |

Now for future records I will set up separate threads(its a maybe) for the rp for one reason in particular. To prevent meta gaming... although I may not have to worry about it with you guys. And I will also only allow for one character for everyone to use. No more three characters it will be too much for me to keep track of.
And I will have a cap on how many players can be on what side so for now ROLL CALL! Who's still here and wanting to participate.

You know I am. But now I have to chose between which Platinum character I want to play: Rocket Armor Mage Killer or Androgynous Superlative Swordsman.
