Elemental Planes Role Play Part 2

[Celadon's Penultimate]

"Ooh, that is cool! Yellow streaks up my arms and legs? I look all tribal and elemental and stuff! That is awesome!"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

Meanwhile I continue to completely freak out, running in circles as I try to tear off my arms.

"OHGODWHATISTHIS?!?!?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "It's AWESOME! That's what it is!"

[Philote]

The light elemental draws its sword, and with one effortless swing, bats the lighting bolt away. With a dash, he moves into the center of the group. Three scars of light open up on Phi's body as the light elemental lands quick taps with his sword. One spell later and Phi is trapped within a gem of light as the scars of light expand.

"Control the newcomer to your group" the Elemental commands "You must calm yourself, an Old One comes to reveal its knowledge." The Elemental's voice rings out to be understood by all languages.

[Marvelous Miscreant]

I stop my panicking for a moment to look desperately at the Light elemental.

"O-O-Old One?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Vous êtes? Parlez, s'il vous plaît. (You do? Speak, please.)"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

My excitement quickly turns to worry...

"Um...what knowledge?"

[Philote]

"Prepare yourselves, she comes" the Elemental speaks as it kneels down.

Above, on the glass steps, the light shimmers. A door, impossibly large, appears on the top step. The world becomes silent for a moment and then the door opens inward revealing a pure white light.

"Speak to her. If she remains willing she will tell you what you need to finish your quest" the Elemental speaks again.

[Zaleramancer]

I'm not looking at my arms. Nope. Don't even want to see what I've turned into. Not happening. Nope.

I maneuver myself so that a few of the others are between me and the strange light. Not taking chances.

"Hey, Rocky, you go first."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

I swallow my panic for a moment and take a deep breath.

"Er...Hello? Could....could you tell us how to stop the Colossus' and win this war? or maybe point us in the general direction maybe?"

[Philote]

A soft voice seems to emanate from the light, but it does not seem to come from any specific point from within the massive light-filled door. "I have been waiting for you, the half-elementals who would come to change the order of the Planes."

"The solution you seek lies with the death of the current King. Humanity will not prevail so long as he commands the elementals to continue the attack. The Planes are infinite and your world will be overrun no matter how many thousands of Colossus they drive back."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "And...and this King. Where does he reside?"

[Philote]

"At the center, and at the edge. The Planes are infinite, but if you have the right keys you can open the path. The earthen one in your group already carries one and fate has brought two other keys together for you to obtain."

"The King is an elemental unlike any other, but we Old Ones do not hold any allegiance to him. I have seen great things in all your futures, but your window for obtaining this greatness will fade if it is not grasped soon."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Then, how are we expected to ever find him? Will you lead us?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Où est des autre clés? (Where are the other keys?"

[Philote]

A silver cage, not even half the size of the door but still massive enough to tower over the group, begins to emerge from the light filled door.

"I am well aware of your methods of travel. Within this cage is the Colossus that drew you all to this point in the Realm of Light. When it is time, I will purify this one of its body and its heart will open the portal to the keys you seek. When you have obtained them the path to the king will be made open to you."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Right. Then...we should be on our way?"

[Philote]

"There are many artifacts in the Planes, but you all are fortunate that two have come together for you all to obtain."

"Remember what I have done for you all in the future." With those last words, the silver cage fills with light and shatters, releasing the energy of the Colossus' heart over the group and transporting them to the realm of metal.

Phi, released from his imprisonment by the light elementals, gazes around. The group has landed on a large platform situated on the side of a completely metal mountain. Below the platform lies nothing but clouds. Across from the group rests a large gate leading into the interior of the mountain, and in front of it, just out of the groups reach, another familiar face stands, one less friendly than the light elementals just recently left. The dark schemer from the Plane of Darkness.
